I've always felt that this pairing represents DLP on the highest level. Second only to surprise Snarry buttsecks.

@scaryisntit and Grinning Lizzard: I figured the orientation was implied, but since you lot need constant clarification....

Not even that, considering Dumbledore's sexuality was only addressed via Word of God.

Guess I'm still a member of the "If you didn't put it in the books, you're not allowed to take credit for it" school of thought.

Still, it's as canon as Tracey Davis and Su Li.

    Hehe. Duly noted.

Or, in the case of Harry/Harry, should that be "Dually noted?"

Ugh. For some reason, this just made me think of something I haven't seen before: Fem!Voldemort seduces Harry to 'the dark side' (not that way, though I haven't seen that either) by, ironically, offering him something he hasn't had since Voldemort killed his parents, a mother's love.

Of course, for that to even have a prayer of working for Voldemort, she'd have to either resurrect herself/possess someone a lot sooner, or Hogwarts-age Harry would have to be a truly pathetic, ridiculously abused wretch. Or been kept woefully ignorant of his own past.

Come to think of it, Voldemort wouldn't even need to be female, just possessing a female body.

Even drawing on his experience as an orphan, himself, I doubt Riddle could come up with the acting chops to pull off 'nurturing mother.'

Ugh. I think I'll go dry heave now. :puke:

Wait, Stephanie Meyer is a religious nut? I missed that.

Well, I know she's fucked up, but that's about it.

@Ichor: She's Mormon. [I can practically hear the "Oooooooooooohhhhhhhh no wonder!" coming from the computer screen]

@Warlocke: Meh. It's a W.O.G. that I don't really mind, in comparison to the other little snippets she's added (e.g. the locked door in the Department of Mysteries).

Hm. I can't help it, but now I can seen Fem!Voldemort molesting Harry when he refuses to get the Philosopher's Stone for him... while on the back of someones head.

    Noooo.

    @Blaise: Ah, I see.

Hmmm...I wonder, if ff.net instituted a slash fiction ban, would there be an Alderaan effect? (You'll understand this reference if you're a Star Wars fan).

I think a Fem!Riddle would have a much better chance to be adopted early on- thus changing nearly any aspect of her personality that depends on nurture. Imagine a 11 year old Tara Morwine Riddle (see my longstanding avatar) brought up by loving muggle parents, then thrown into the magical world and Slytherin house due to her blood.

I can see her taking the side of the muggleborn over her blood- purist contemporaries. The darker part of her heritage (parsel- tongue, maybe a form of curse due to being conceived under the influence of a love potion) would manifest in a drive to combat discrimination by all means, maybe a descent into insanity later on.

To be honest, whether Voldemort is a man or a woman he is still a deranged psychopath with feelings for no one but himself. So does it really matter whether he is a different gender, being a woman isn't going to make him nicer, it might have changed the way that he was interacted with but he is still going to be the same person fundamentally. Unless of course it is one of those stories where the names are the same, as is the setting but all of the people have completely different personalities. Maybe it would make for an amusing crack fic.

But I can just see it, Thomasina (and yes that is a real name) Riddle coming to school and becoming a saint. Because she haz boobz and stuff and that makes her way nicer (boobs have things in them which make people nice).

    Oh and TEAM TELETUBBIES!

This thread is going rapidly downhill. Not that it wasn't below sea level to begin with.
