Sheez, all that evelynn hate. She's really good against low/mid elo players who don't put forth the effort to call mia's and buy vision wards. She's an amazing counter jungler and can really set back a team gold wise. Last time I eve'd, I caused their team to buy a total of 8 oracles, 15+ vision wards, and oodles of qq.

AD eve is where its at. Stealth, Stun, Armor Debuff, a 75% as buff and ms buff, and the ability to regain health for dead enemies means you're one mean ass ganker/tower diver. She's way more useful than tryn early/mid game. She's just way more difficult to play well even when fed.

Irelia is slightly up, she just needs a uptweak in the numbers.

 

Yeah, Evelynn is great and fun to play when you play in solo queues - I tried her in 55 games with teammates (on vent) and it doesn't work.

I've just tried playing Warwick as an AP. It's a really fun build - the Q does a huge amount of damage, and if you got Lich Bane, the R does take like 75% of a squishy's health. Basically, with 450 AP, you can two-shoot a 2k hp enemy. I'm rushing Mejai, Zhonya and Lich Bane, in that order. In team fights, you go in, you Q, you get out. When they've used all their abilities, you can ulti and finish them.

And it's funny to see everyone "warwick ap wtf?! oO" while you get a full Ace by yourself.

 

Nah, Jon. It's all about Taric, because when you can just build aura items and still require a minimum of 3 enemies to take you down then you can just sit back and troll with healing and stuns. Of course, this does require a half decent team to work, but hey, what composition doesn't?

 

This is why playing the support/main tank sucks in solo queue, outside of those few I DO DMG support/tanks, because its harder to carry baddies with someone like Taric, Janna, or Amumu.

Also: Counter-jungle is the shit. Eve, Mundo, even Shaco are just amazing counter jungling. It ruins the enemy jungler, gives you decent exp, and makes it basically a 5v4+one punching bag champion for 20 minutes.

Started playing this again and I decided to try Kog'maw. First few games I hated him, then I figured out how to use Living Artillery properly and he's my new favorite.

 

So, I just started playing this game 3 days ago, and I'm at level 10...I play as Ashe, but I'm saving up for Miss Fortune. Anyway, add me: ashayatara.

 

LoL is definitely way more fun with friends! I'd suggest you look up team liquid or reddit subgroups http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/ if you want to get better faster.
(grouping with good players is more pressure, but your normal queue elo will move up faster so long as you're still winning)

LoL is a fun game. I play a few rounds when I get frustrated with HoN. I would play it exclusively, but it is just too casual for me. The average player is bad, does not care about winning or loosing and calls you a nerd when you try to explain basic game mechanics to him.

LoL is just too laid back, which is kind of a good thing. But when almost no pub players understand a basic strategy like one of the side lane champions going top for first blood and teleporting away, I just get too frustrated.

 

I watched some of the videos, and it seems pretty easy, but listening to Jon and Chaos talk and geek out on it in Tf2 it sounds like there's a lot more to it.

 

There is a lot of theory craft

Multiple ways to build each champion, what summoner talents work with each build etc.

Just played my first game in months. 11/6/4(kills/deaths/assists). Not bad considering our Nidalee went 1/13/4

 

Its a fun game. Newcomers to the Dota genre should definitely try LoL first since its a simple version. If you want a more complex and competitive(aka filled with more whiners/complainers/flamers) check out hon ;b
