Jeram's story The Ten Plagues just updated and included some Harry/Fleur goodness. It's been a while since I've read the whole thing but the story is pretty interesting and includes some fairly original concepts, although looking back after reading the HP/Book of Amber(?) crossover in WBA, I see a few parallels. It doesn't look to be a major pairing or anything, but it was a nice surprise.

Does anyone know what happened to A Very Long Engagement by Bioplague? I checked FFN a few times and some surrounding FF sites. Nothing. Does anyone happen to know where one may find it? Or does it need to be "re-discovered" and reposted.

Yes, yes he did. The day he started writing said fic, "Letters" popped up on FF.net.

    Seratin raged like a motherfucker.

And then he used his rage to fuel his muse and wrote the best god-damned Harry/Fleur fic of all time.

Damn, son! Since "Letters" was pretty much a flop, I'm curious to hear what you would have done differently.:)

The main plot was to have Fleur cut her hair short and start dressing like Malfoy. From their she'd drink a magic potion and ream Harry in the ass while shouting, "WHO'S YOUR FUCKING DADDY?"

I still think it would have turned out better than Letters.

    Also: "Son"?

Call me whatever you wish. I was merely wondering what Seratin would have done had he written the story himself.

Sequel to Wastelands seems to be pretty good so far. (some of you may have already discussed it. Just throwing in my opinion.)

I hope Letters didn't deter you from continuing your fic.

Speaking of rage and H/Fleur fics, how's your story, "A Tale of Two Champions" coming along Blaise?

Pretty sure I remember seeing this in either this thread are the almost recommendable thread a while back but it's been updated.
Overall this story is very intriguing and original, if not very far-fetched. The basic premise is that Harry was born in 1976, he has brothers/sisters and his younger brother Alex is the BWL, also Lily and James are alive b/c on the night of the attack Alex was with his grandparents.
In this story Harry goes to Durmstrang b/c Lily is a teacher at Hogwarts and children of the staff can't attend Hogwarts. Typical manipulative DD very powerful Harry (he's pretty much Harry in name only) etc. What makes this story so intriguing is that it hooks you almost immediately. The story tells you the ending in the beginning, then back tracks and tells you Harry's life and logic in snippets. The grammar isn't perfect, and it is far-fetched, but IMO it is one of the more original stories on that filthy website, I'd say it's library worthy, but that's just me.
4/5 because it was fairly well written, original enough to keep me reading, and that even after I finished the last chapter I wanted to keep reading to see how everything ends up.

I have no energy or desire to review this story, other than the fact that I hated it. It made me want to kill small animals. In no way do I think it deserves the library. In lieu of a long response, I link to GL's review of it in For Review.

That thought crossed my mind. But then I remembered some of the other brain-melting shit Feanorr's posted. I'm forced to conclude that he really is more retarded than a chipmunk with Down's Syndrome.

I was about to write a long detailed response why I seriously dislike this story when I found GL's review. It said everything. Well, no. One last thing. The author also needs to get his/her dates straight. Jumping ahead and then back again in the storyline is fucked up, especially when it becomes obvious that some of the jumps are actually wrong.
