I threw this request up on ff.net a year ago and nothing great pop'd up so I thougth I'd check here as well. I'm looking for a slytherin!harry story that doesn't have him either up malfoys ass or being buddybuddy with him within the first two minutes. I'm basically looking for a full length version of Big D on a Diet's - "What Would Slytherin Harry Do?"

The only bad thing about it is the update rate, but what has already been posted seems to be the best Slytherin!Harry in FFnet.

It's a crossover, but you can read it without knowing the other material. From what I remember (read it a long time ago) the beginning wasn't very promising but it gets much better.

Don't have much in detail to say about it because of how long its been, but from what I remember I liked the characterization of Harry once the story got underway (past the first couple of years I think?)

 

Try The Other Side of the Coin and Sitra Ahra.They are both quite awesome.

You can also try reading Harry Potter and The Elemental's Power.The story get's quite interesting in the later chapters.

We don't really see Harry in Hogwarts but he is in Slytherin if I remember right.

 

I've read Path of Decision and On the Way to Greatness before and enjoyed them both. Potter Politics seems interesting and it's goin on the alert list.

3 chapters in and The Elemental's Power isn't clicking with me. Gona dive into Sitra Ahra next.

Path of Decision was that Sandman crossover, correct? I liked it, but not the end: I sort of expected Harry to become Death's 'significant other', Decision.

I remember PM'ing the author asking if he/she was going to write an alternate ending a year or so back, but I think I remember him/her saying that whilst it was considered, he/she couldn't do it justice, or something like that.

 

Yea it was the Sandman crossover, one of the best crossovers I've read by-the-by. I liked the ending, especially Voldie's Punishment. It fit well with the whole mood of the story.

 

Breaks my heart remembering that fic. One of the best ever in my list.
