Supposedly the game is really buggy right now.

Going to try it now, need to get a team together for co-op though, looks much more fun.

I'm installing it now. Bought it on Monday but night shift has had me knackered all week, so I'm only getting around to it now. Will be done in approximately half an hour. :3

Fuck it though, I need sleep. >_>

Look at the top sellers. Magicka got the first spot!

Seems like they sold over 30k copies on the first day, but I wonder if enough people will continue with the game once they beat it a couple times. Especially if they don't come up with a way to make the mutiplayer work better.

I've attempted to play multiplayer a few times, but it never works. Most of the time it forces my internet to cut out.

Kinda disappointed, considering I wanted to play this for the multiplayer.

The game is pretty damn laggy for me. Good thing I'm upgrading graphics cards this week.

Game runs reasonable well for me, though that's on single player. Can't get any of my friends to play it, they're all FPSWhores.

any of you got past the last boss of chapter 3 in solo (durendal, the gunpowder supplier for the capital)? if not, there a challenge for you. do it without losing a single house.

Don't know how to use spoiler. so i won't even give you a hint as to why.

:p yup yup chapter 3 was great! I actually didn't know it was the boss that i killed 0.o he was super easy. Twas fun testing the prize on the villagers... but it kinda sucks since the next chapter has those jerks with shields.

I played this for 4 hours last night with my brother, and it was some of the most fun I've had playing a game in years. I only stopped because I needed to work in the morning.

The magic system is freaking insane, and as everyone I've talked to has said, you end up killing yourself more than the monsters do. But that's half the fun!

    Best $10 I've ever spent.

I did that on the first try and got a machine gun.

Agreed. I don't think there's a built in chat or anything though. I can supply a ts3 server for it to coordinate if needed. Have plenty of them these days.

Anyone up for it tomorrow, say 5 PM EST?

^.^ hop on my vent guys (ventrilo2.sjc.powervs.com:5015)

Favorite Spell Combos so far list ^.^
Arcane/Icex5 Shotgun: Nice cone, if you charge it, it has decent amount of legs. Solid damage

    Steam/Lightning/Arcanex4: Murder beam.

Ice+Stone: You can mess around with this setting. It removes shields which is super useful, and if you put charge it up with ice/4stone, it does massive damage.

Life/Barrier: Them healing mines are really useful to get enemies off your back.

Water Ball into frost ball: QD launch, RD, is really good for freezing clumps. I tend to use this combo when I'm co-opping. Allows me to help teammates set up combos. If soloing i go for the arcane/icex5 shotgun because i don't need to worry too much about spray and pray.

Dome barrier + arcane mines to its outside: Really good if you see a annoying clump of jerks.

Icex6 (Shift+rightclick): One of the prettier animations imo

This game is so amazingly fun. I'm so bad at spellcasting. Recommended.

QFASR is the answer. I still have to see if there is a way to put another element on that beam atack.

Real question though: When do I get my teleport? I just got rid of the staff and I miss it :(

Edit: Is it just me or the game demands more of the computer than it should? While I play it normally 99% of the time I feel as if sometimes my computer starts lagging a bit. In fact, while playing with Vir earlier, the steam shift+tab thing was loading really slow..

Edit 2: We need to set up some kind of tourneament! Random partnes, whoever lasts longer in the challenge mode wins? (Also, the least amount of partner kills)
