As true as that statement is, there are still SO MANY plot holes that still need to be filled. Like what the hell was the preacher, and what was going on with the organization that screwed with River.

and that's just off the top of my head, if you want to count the movie that just adds another couple levels of WTF including how the border words are going to react to all those deaths, the fate of Miranda, and the battle with the Reavers.

    Truth. >_>

Really. I liked her a hell of a lot more than I did Aeryn. She was ... Just kind of insanely likable character. >_>

    One Word:

    Lost.

No one cares about tying threads and finishing it neatly. Once you get the impending cancellation notice, its an all-hands-on-deck scramble to find a meaningful end that will eventually be abandoned when they decide "Fuck it, I got shit to do."

Now that's a real possibility. Few more guys who have so much money they don't know what to do with it and love Firefly, and we may see it some day.

Anyway I'm still waiting for a day when I will hear that some tv-show that was about to be canceled will stay on air, because some billionaire is a fan and will pay for it so he can still watch it.

I never thought I'd see a bigger bag of bullshit in my lifetime.

"Dear actor with a close relationship to a good writer/director, let's bring a failed show back - and not try to turn any of my work into a screenplay.

    <3, P. Roth"

When high profile authors engage in foolishness, said cause of foolishness needs to be abandoned, post haste.

And on what planet is a converted missle silo a waste?

    Wut?

I don't care if someone wants to spend his money on bringing the show back, and neither do I care if he has an alternative motive.

Hell, even if Rothfuss wants/gets a screenplay, I cannot see why that would be a bad thing, especially if he brings back a show that I enjoy. Also because chances are, I'd also enjoy whatever he ended up writing anyway.

If he did get a screenplay out of it, it could even be seen as an investment for him, as he'd make money from this.

Ignoring the screenplay thing entirely... If a "high profile author" wants to spend some his money to help pay for a show he likes, why is that foolishness, and why on earth does that matter to you?

If you don't like the show, that's fine. You don't need to, and I'm sure nobody will particularly care if you don't. Which makes me wonder why you care if other people do?

TL;DR What the hell are you talking about?

He said turning an abandoned missile silo into a secret lair = a waste.

I will not let that stand, sir. I will not.

Granted, owning an abandoned silo has actually been a personal dream of mine...

Ever since I saw a show on TV about the things people have done with them.

    Totally off topic:
I cannot remember if this is the show or not, but it's still pretty cool.

Lol I doubt he thought his off hand comment would spark such a reaction, still maybe it will start him thinking about it... we can only hope

Anyway I always though it would be interesting to see firefly start again a few years after Miranda. Does anyone else have a thought on where they would want the show to start/go if it ever got resurrected?

I think the crew broadcasting the wave throughout the galaxy would cause quite an outrage. I'd love to see a civil war between the Alliance and whatever remnants of the Browncoats that are left.
