MMM isn't that hard to beat as Protoss if you get the hang of it. In fact I am much more afraid of their Mech build. All you have to make is Zealots, Sentries and 1-2 Immortals to beat them.

As for the micro, look at the Zerg. Zerg probably got the highest micro and macro count in-game. That howver is no excuse. It all depends what your preference are. Personally I prefer Protoss gameplay over Zerg or Terran, although I believe I could also play Terran in Diamond League.

Um no, Zealots combined with Immortals and Sentries beat them to. Unless ofcourse if they get mass MMM, but by then you should've either got collosus or HT's (my preference lies in HT).

@those people who doesn't get warp-in tech.
The most awesome ability in-game. Just keep a probe or two with you when you push. Every terrain you gain will be a new spawn point. Just build a pylon and a endless army keeps pushing in (especially if you go for HT's build, which usually results you having at least 5 gates).

 

Is there a way to get the EU version in the US? I have quite a few friends on the EU servers, but I can't play with them because of Blizzards shitty region lock outs.

 

Get a European Battle.net account with a valid copy of SC2, download it from the website.

Should work, at least in theory.

 

Does work. A lot of people from the high diamond/master leagues do that so they can play in all regions.

Edit: Btw, anyone plays with all three races here? I decided to go random once patch 1.2 came out to see if I can get better with my macro and micro. Since I also changed my hotkeys to grade mode, I find that I have to keep in the offensive a great deal more than I used to in order to win, else the other guy will rip me open.

Yup.
Terran's one of my easiest matchups right now, once I realized the whole '+1 armor / Chargelot/Sentry' play. Zerg is even easier once I started incorporating the Stargate to Robo transition. PvP is the one I'm having the most trouble with now- I can normally start to win, but then I overexpand or make a few more production structures than I can support, and lose in the ensuing counterpush.

 

If both of you don't pull anything fancy, make sure you bring a couple Collosus with you. PvP is all about Collosi in the mid-game. You can have some sentries using hallucination to bring up even more Collosus and push them in from of your army, the couple shots your true ones will deal while the enemy focus fire on the fake ones will make a huge difference
