Even then, part of the problem is that her usefulness in-story doesn't quite match up to what she should be capable of given her stated abilities. The combination of super-strength, healing abilities, and poison-making skills ought to be enough to make a reasonably effective fighter; not on the Pain/Itachi/Naruto level certainly, but far from useless.

However, that list of skills has been hampered by bad writing. What's odd about Sakura is that she's basically gone through character un-development in Part 2; she started off as skilled, confident, and showing a lot more maturity than she had pre-timeskip, but now she's back to being useless again.

 

Something I just realized, maybe its been brought up before but with the edo tensei when the death god tore out the souls of the Senju brothers it ended the technique right? So when Ginkaku got hit by the rope and his soul severed and sealed within the gourd shouldn't he have crumpled to dust?

So the Shishi Enjin technique used by the Sound Four in the Sandaime-Orochimaru fight was actually a Konoha technique? And Dan seems to be resisting the Edo Tensei at least a little bit.

I'd like to see something of Dan's techniques, though. He had to have been pretty strong if he could win Tsunade's confidence about his being Hokage inspite of guys like Sakumo, Jiraiya and Orochimaru still being around.

Though just seeing Hanzo in action should be sweet (fuck, he's already owned five guys without trying), I disagree. Hanzo should absolutely rape Mifune. In all honesty, I'm pretty fucking pissed that the men who named the fucking Sannin is fighting a goddamn samurai of all people, regardless of how good Mifune is.

I agree with Verse of Darkness; Hanzo should wtfpwn! Mifune six ways from Sunday.

 

I don't know, he is the leader of the samurai...

Side-note: Next chapter will give me a legit bump in terms of what to do with both Iron Country and Hanzo.

 

I actually really like this development, and don't think it's going to be a raping at all, nor should it be. We haven't seen shit out of the samurai, after all.

Nice enough chapter although the artwork looks pretty bad at places.

I really am looking forward for Hanzo totally raping Mifune. I know it's not gonna happen and that Mifune will put up a decent fight, but still, Hanzo has got to be among the top five strongest fighters that got brought back and I want him to go all out.

Am a bit surprised he could summon though, would have thought the slamander would realize Hanzo is not himself and thus not really the one giving the commands. He seems to have more like an Orochimaru and Tsunade relationship with his summons rather than the one that Jiraya has with his.

 

Actually, I think Hanzo is himself. Its just that himself is a total asshole who uses poison-gas, ambushes people at negotiation meetings and insults the elderly.

He's everything DLP wishes in a hero. :awesome

Hanzo is the man with the most hype barring The Sage of Six Paths. Its high time we see it and him wtfpwning Mifune will be the icing on the cake.

Ninja's>Samurai

 

I don't think its that simple. All we've seen of Samurai so far, is a bunch of cannon fodder getting trolled by hax!Sharingan!Sasuke. Comparatively, Mifune should be on a whole other level. He's the head the Samurai of a country that's managed to stay neutral through 3 wars fought by Ninja, while not getting run over by ambitious villages like Kumo. All that has to count for something.

While I don't think Mifune should win (unless they manage to seal Hanzo away by some means), I'll be disappointed if Hanzo just walks all over him.

 

Unless Mifune can take on Orochimaru, Tsunade, AND Jiraiya at the same time, he's should be curbstombed to hype Hanzou. There's no REASON for him to lose to Mifune.

 

In the sannin's defense they were far younger and I highly doubt they were anywhere near as powerful as they are at the current time or at their last appearance. But I agree Hanzou should be able to rip apart 95% all most anyone. Hanzou is someone a kage or someone like Kakashi, Naruto, Killer Bee should deal with. Not Mifune

 

I don't really get the people who want Hanzou to roll over Mifune. I mean, I get showing ninja superiority in the ninja world and showing off Hanzou's strength. That part makes sense.

But why would you want a boring fight? Make it entertaining, at least!

Having a samurai challenge someone to a fight and immediately getting his face ripped off would be a lot more entertaining than Hanzou having trouble with a Samurai. There's already 10,000 fights going on.
