Er... What's Dream World?

 

Dream World is a part of Pokemon Global Link, which is the official online pokemon service. There's an international ladder, records of C-Gear encounters and stats world wide, and a battle service. You access it by syncing your game over wifi.

A large part of the PGL is the Pokemon Dream World, where you'll be able to send a pokemon to 'sleep' through syncing, and use it to plow through some minigames. These minigames allow you to interact with pokemon with previous gens with different Abilities- Acceleration Blaziken and Drought Ninetails, Drizzle Politoad come to mind. It's also the only way to obtain special berries outside of trading. Custap Berries and the like are still unavailable because they haven't been released through PDW yet.

Anyway, what is meant by a Dream World poke is a Pokemon with a Dream World ability.

Just beat the game; I think I'll use the team I use in-game, see how it goes. So yeah, count me in. Thanks for PMing me about it.

Though I can't say I expect I'll be very good at competitive battling... ah well.

I just realized that for reasons pursuant to my plans for Spring Break that I won't have much access to the internet. This is probably going to my last post until after, actually. My bad. Plus, trying to read through all the competitive Poke-battling stuff made me realize I should probably stick to writing it and not playing it if I want to have any free time at all.

You should probably take me off the list and put my spot up again. Once again, my bad.

 

I just got my copy of White but it will be some time before I can really play, since I am cramped with exams and shit this month and will sit this one out but if there is a tournament after this, I would want to take part in that.
