A friend of mine recommend this game and it is quite good.

Here is a preview gameplay video. (Note: This was made months ago, the game looks a bit better now). You can check out the other systems in the suggestions.

    Website is here

    Controls:

Left click or arrows to move around.
Left click on move to use(can be swapped to right click).
Alt+left click on npc to talk.
Control+left click(or right click + use) to use/interact with stuff. I.e. use pokeball, open body etc.

Eh, pretty neat game. The interface is unintuitive, but the concept is good and it looks like it could be a good PVP game. It would be even more fun if DLP would form a 'party'.

So far, I trained my Eevee to level 13. At first I invested in Special for faster training, then Evasion for later PVP (probably a mistake - should have done it later in the game) and finally speed, again for faster training.

You can leave the tutorial island(garden) any time you want. However, if you train up a bit you can do the instance and get a stone reward(fire, thunder, water). Conveniently, the 3 eevee evolutions.

    So far my team is:

    Eevee: Level 16
    Pidgy: level 17
Ekans: Level 7(about to start training).

Stats wise: I put the first few levels mixed around strength stamina and vitality. Then I realized that with evade high you are pretty much godlike->Since most of your leveling is done on pokemon of lower level.

For pidgy, I put about 5 points in stamina, after that I have been putting everything in special. Gust hits like a train now. Awesome for levelling off bug types(of which there is an abundance in starting zones).

It's possible to get a machop, pikachu and poliwag in the starting zone.

For those of you playing: What is your ingame name?

Same as it is here; Grubdubdub. How do you earn money to buy pokeballs? I didn't find any quests in the first city and surrounding area.

Loot monsters, take the everything you see, coins items pokeballs(all pokemon loot pokeballs at a low% chance..level 30+ pokemon loot greatballs).

Drag and drop to move stuff.

I'm getting on now, I'll pm you. Right click on the blue message to answer.

Edit: you're offline right now :p

Had a little while to play around with it last night. The interface is retarded, moving is slow and choppy, and there is absolutely zero explanation of what to do once you get in the game for the first time.

Other than that, it's basically a pokemon mmo... 'nuff said.

Looks interesting so far, although it's annoying trying to save up for pokeballs.

Yeah, the catch rate for all pokemon is down. I used 14 pokeballs on butterfree earlier and nada :'(

    Quests in garden:

One chick wants a juicy apple, she will give you some kind of electric device, this needs a battery.
Another NPC will trade 10 magic stone for a battery.
    20 Bugs killed, 100 coins.
Dex a pikachu. Not sure of reward
    Dex any watertype. Old Rod.
Bring package to Pokemon centre in wilderness.

Is anybody out of Garden yet?

I just tried downloading the file but it doesn't seem to be working for me. Whenever I try to boot it I end up with an error message saying "the system cannot locate the object specified. Line:0"

Anyboy else get something like this or have any idea what to do?

Okay, now every time I try to play, it tells me, "File access denied." Then the loading screen freezes (the one with the arcanine).

Also, I can't close the options menu. It just says "Cannot create file "C:\Program Files (x86)\PokeArena\data\config.x" Access denied."

    Edit VV: Yep
