Teaser included with the Tron: Legacy Blu-Ray.

 

Looks pretty boss. Legacy was what is was, and I appreciated it for that. It was a cheesy action flick with some amazing cg. But that trailer looks pretty different. First of all, there doesn't seem to be any reference to the grid, or to Quorra. Hopefully we can get some more real life badassery this time around.

And on-topic, I've rewatched both movies, and while I like the original more, both are awesome.

I don't think it's a teaser for a new Tron movie, but more of a thank you, shout out, to those you played the Flynn Lives ARG that ran before the movie. References to ISOlatedThinker and zac_attack, Sam's "89" logo, video of the Flynn Lives events and Sam exposing the Flynn Lives shirt at the end all of which had big roles in the ARG lead me to think this.

I'd enjoy the hell out of another Tron movie, but I don't think this is a teaser for one.

 

I finally got around to watching this just now. Fun movie. I saw the original a few years ago on TV once, but I don't remember it too well. I remember the Space Paranoids section in Kingdom Hearts II better.

Special effects and music were great. Story... better than I was expecting, actually, but not as good as it could be. Olivia Wilde and Jeff Bridges were awesome.

I'm hoping they'll continue with it some time.
