Poe-tato, poe-taato...>.> What I meant was that GNOME is in the same boat as far as I'm concerned: Taking something that WORKED, and didn't look bad or interrupt the user, and turning it into an unusable pile of shit.

Maybe there is still hope...If I can uninstall whatever that thing is, and recreate the panels, I wont be stuck learning a new environment (Xfce has changed since I last used it, I'm sure) or moving to Linux Mint (more KDE-like than I want, but it at least doesn't look like complete shit).

I shouldn't complain. >_> I ditched KDE as soon as they killed the 3.5 model for that horrid 4 ... travesty.

I... dunno about uninstalling it, since its going to have a lot of the core Gnome3 files. But the panels will still be installed. I can hit alt-f2, and do gnome-panels --replace and it kills Unity and lets me run the old interface.

Took me a while, but I finally got it just the way I want it. I won't be changing this one for a while hopefully.[IMG]

That is awesome. What did you use to have the icons appear like that?

Also, is that W7 or some theme made to look like W7 toolbar?

The icons are from a pack on deviantart: Token Icon Pack
Yeah, the way they fan out in a stack is a stand-alone version of the stacks docklet for RocketDock. It was a bitch and a half to configure since the interface for it blows, but the end result was well worth it.

It's all Windows 7, with a custom wallpaper, custom start button, stacks, and slightly modified rainmeter.

Note to self, look at link name before I click on pictures. ANd yes, my link thing shows the 'feces' one, not the tinyurl one.

My desktop's completely bare, except for the HD mac icon.

Anyways, came across this wallpaper today and figured this was the best place to post it. It might just be me, but I find it absolutely stunning.

I've been using this for a wallpaper for a while now. The only thing I'll change it to any time soon is another Game of Thrones wallpaper.

Mine. Have like a dozen other space-themed wallpapers it cycles through every boot/few minutes. :3

Oooh, source on your pics? I've got quite a few space based ones, but I haven't seen that one before.
