There's a good chance I'm asking for the impossible here but I'll give it a shot. Basically I'm looking for fics which feature a likable, or at least sympathetic, Draco Malfoy.

Currently the only ones I've read (that I've liked at least) are Out of the Night by Raining Ink, The Best Revenge by Arsinoe de Blassenville and Switch by corvidae9.

Theoretically, Draco Malfoy can be on the opposing, unsympathetic side (i.e. a villain) and still be likeable. Theoretically.

 

There was only one that came to my mind, but it has been a very long time since I read it, and it took me 15 minutes of searching my bookmarks to find it.

Is Draco likable in this story on the merit that he has about 10 lines of dialogue?

 

Honestly, only one I can think of is the psychic serpent trilogy. Specifically, I'm thinking the second of the three fics. He's actually an interesting character in that one.

 

Barb's work does have a decent portrayal of Draco in the 2nd book, but it otherwise indulges in the everhated D/G ship for an unfortunately long time. He's also a huge dick in the third book (until the very end). That said, it's worth reading, and not for Draco. Lol.

This is a decent story. As of all Chilord's stories...the dialogue gets ridiculously wordy, thus nearly ruining the story. And it's H/Daphne, with references to Harry crushing on Tonks, not Harry/Draco.
