I laughed hard at that little tidbit (and vomited in my mouth some). Pretty epic looking scene if you can ignore the lover's embrace though.

I'm looking forward to this, if only to finally end it. The first part wasn't that bad, and it was mostly filler anyway. So maybe this will exceed my expectations. Who knows?

I am laughing my ass off at the Voldemort screams. Four times in that trailer.

Why were Harry and Voldemort standing on the school's roof? And why the fuck did Harry jump?

Some parts looked pretty epic though. I remember being disappointed about the lack of a proper final battle. This looks like Voldemort and Harry actually fight, at least beyond the "Dumbledore-pulled-this-off-before-I-was-born-and-only-now-we-realize-it" we get in the books.

    Oh lord.

Well, let me get some things out of the way. Let me say this right now: the cinematography looks bloody gorgeous - some of the scenes presented here could be framed. And it looks like they're really amping up the Battle at Hogwarts (fingers crossed for scenes where we actually get to see on camera Lupin and Tonks get killed), particularly the scenes of Harry vs. Voldemort, which seems much more drawn out than it was in the books - and to me, that's a plus.

Also, there was a lot of Snape in the trailers - and the more I get to see Alan Rickman on screen being awesome, the better.

But I have extremely low expectations for this. Sure, it looks amazing, but 'looking good' doesn't account for that much, at least not with me. The acting is still going to range wildly from damn good to pretty fucking terrible, and the dialogue is going to be pretty painful. But then again, I was very irked with Part 1, so I'm not expecting, well, ANYTHING from this.

Hopefully it will be faithful enough to the book to be awesome in the right areas, and unfaithful enough to get rid of the shit.

... yeah, I'm pretty sure I've never read a part of Deathly Hallows where Harry throws himself and Voldemort into a canyon or w/e the fuck that was.

But, like all trailers, it looks amazing. Too bad the movie probably won't be.

Fuck, i've seen all the movies, but I do not want to see the end of this movie. I can't stand to have my soul crushed for a second time with the epilogue.

God, this. Filmmakers, y u do dis? Film!Voldemort is nothing like what I imagined him in the books. Even going past his appearance (I always pictured him with hair and a nose... plus, you know, red snake eyes. Why did they leave that out?), he's just so much more... hammy than the books portrayed him. Isn't he supposed to be cold and emotionless? Why all the screaming and shit?

Plus his distinct lack of shoes at one point in the trailer... wut. :facepalm

Expanding the Battle of Hogwarts and Harry vs. Voldemort sounds good in theory, but they'll inevitably mess it up in practice.

And just imagining how the Epilogue will play out in live-action makes me cringe. I might just leave the theater before then.

... Actually, it occurs to me that I haven't even seen Part I yet. Hm. I think my brother got the DVD last week though, so I'll definitely watch it before going to see this.

"Let's finish this the way we started it, TOGETHER." Harry throws his arms around Voldemort's neck.

So much fucking slash is going to spawn from that scene. D:

Have no fear; I hear they've re-shot it so that Harry pushes Ron under the train as the kids are leaving for school, then bones Hermione...

    And Rose.

    And Hedwig's corpse.

Apparently they wanted it to be 'edgy' and 'resonate with the fanfic crowd.' :facepalm

Was pleasantly surprised actually. Looks like there is going to be some action which sorely lacked in that last filler movie.

The Snape disappearing act looked pretty awesome.

I actually loved the last film. I haven't liked a HP film since GOF. So I've got high hopes for this. Them fleshing out the Battle of Hogwarts and the duel between Voldemort and Harry I think are giant pluses.

Their duel ending with another Priori thing, which by the looks of it is going to happen, I think maybe a better end them them trading two spells and Voldemort dropping dead.

    Epilogue....one word. ASP.

As some people mentioned after the original Deathly Hallows trailer, it's possible that a lot of the Voldemort/Harry solo scenes don't physically happen. (where the fuck did everybody else go in them?) It might be some sort of mental dueling metaphor thing, and as such it might take place after Harry gets AKed, or even in the split second before or during their final spell exchange.

Trailer wise that actually looks pretty nice.

The neck hugging scene made me laugh; I wonder how Voldemort left himself open to that.
I think I'll be watching the audience during the movie as well; it will be entertaining to see how many people will be pissed at Goyle casting fiendfyre rather than Crabbe.

Dude, I don't even care about faithful at this point. This looks incredible - about what I actually expected from the 7th book itself...

You know, I'll be one of the first to admit I compare some parts of the movie to the book. Winky absent in GOF being an example. Harry's seemingly absent struggle between Horcruxes and Hallows in the last, unless it will be in this one.(Doubt it.)

But, all the small stuff like that, it's pointless, so their reactions would be funny. However, I do have a question for you. How do you even remember something like that? Considering both are practically interchangeable as characters. Hell I don't even remember which one died.

Sigh. It has taken 7 movies, and after each teaser trailer my line is...

This looks pretty good. I have high hopes for it.

But look at the pretty CG!

I am reluctantly going to admit I think it looks good though it will probably dissapoint me.

No. Fuck no. You shut your whorish mouth.

    I liked the trailer.

As for the Harry grabbing Voldemort and throwing them both off the precipice... it works.

It's not canon, not at all, but it should've been. Harry was far too reactive in canon, that's what killed it. He needed to throw Voldemort off a fucking roof. Be proactive.

That's a brilliant hero. It deserves to be in the movie.

    Joe out.
