I never paid any attention to the story of Mortal Kombat; is it actually that lame? If it is, I am never touching that franchise again... Gah! The only decent part was when that chick ripped out that dude's throat, and even that was lame.

 

Fairly close. I think they changed a bit of it, but pretty accurate. Kahn revives Sindel and mindwipes her into working for him eventually.

But yeah, a lot of the MK mythos is hella retarded. Don't pay attention to it.

 

So the new episode just totally made up for the Kitana crap, that was my favorite version of Raiden I've seen so far. That scary slasher grin when they tazed him and it didn't do a damn thing was awesome.

 

Even though I didn't mind (and expected, tbh) the cartoony filler for a lot of the characters with more mystical backstories, this episode was indeed much better.

Raiden is a bawse.
