Server isn't up to date yet for the latest version. And Vash hates Minecraft now. D:

I'm pretty sure you could run Minecraft on your watch. What piece of shit computer did you use to have that wouldn't let you run it before?

Minecraft is surprisingly very CPU intensive. I often have framerate drops when I run it on my computer, which can run almost every game on the market maxed out.

It has been a problem for a lot of people, with a wide range of PCs failing to run it. Hell, I wasn't even crashing when the game was loaded, this was just after the login screen, so it wasn't an issue of my computer being shit (which it wasn't, I've played CPU/graphics intensive games on it with ease).

    Well fuck o_O

I just assumed that because my piece of crap could run it other pieces of crap could run it as well.

Minecraft is a really weird game that way. I'm reasonably certain it's because of how chunk loading works. Also Notch is a bad coder.

So I got a lot of free times these days. And since no one is using the server, let's fix a date and time. Get 5-10 guys who want to play. And in a complete new world, we play like in single player. Collect wood and stuff, make a fort. Kill monsters at night etc., basically no kits or free stuff by entering commands. Also, maybe do a little PVP.

    Anyone interested?

I'm interested. Might be a bit sketchy on when I can do it. Away Monday and Tuesday, then Friday until Monday.

That's how we did it with the original DLP server. It was GLORIOUS.

I'd be up for this. I have yet to find a good multiplayer server to hang out in. When DLP was doing it, I'd drifted away from Minecraft a tad.

Has anyone seen any of those servers that actually have an economy? The mobs drop coins and such. Seems kinda interesting.

iirc Vash disappeared from Minecraft due to people complaining about the server and whatnot. Could be wrong, though.

On topic, I'd be down for Deoxy's idea. It's just not the same doing the same shit on Single player =/

Wow, glad to see such a good response. As soon as we can get Vash to empty the server we can do it pretty much anytime we like. It is just that we start together, all of us, and there are no mods/cheats/commands allowed.

I think of it as several humans thrust into a new world with pretty much nothing and I wanna see what we build out of it. And as Rudolph said it gets boring to do so in single player.

Also, since the server would be blank there would probably be no lag at all.

Before I moved to the DLP server, a few friends of and I set loose on a friend's server. Needless to say, that within a few hours we had already changed the landscape <_<

    (Without any commands or mods)
