I really liked this chapter, best in a long time-shit actually happens, and the next chapter should be the showdown between Naruto/Bee and their kages.

Was Sakura referring to Sasuke or Naruto? It's hard to tell. EDIT: Nevermind, I must have skipped over the panel showing Sasuke in the background.

And Bee was awesome as fuck. "No brassiere!" "I meant to say 'brother' but tripped on the 't,' but since you mentioned it I bet the Hokage's an 'E'!" lol

 

Sasuke - he is in background it's rather obviously, Bee of course rule like always. Hinata thinks that war is only fought for Naruto... It's rather sad how Kishimoto hasn't give us any more about her confession.

 

To be fair, that war is being fought just to protect Naruto and Bee. Capturing those two is basically all Madara needs to go forward with his Moon Eye plan.

Well, I suppose I should be slightly less critical of Sakura, since most of her development has to do with what she failed to do, or failed at doing.

 

Sakura actualy did something useful?!?

Oh wait, never mind. Good Sakura, you look kind of cool.

 

It's kinda sad how the arms or lack of is what helped Sakura figure it out.

THe next chapter is said to be called Naruto vs. Raikage, maybe it's to show the difference between Naruto and Sasuke cus Sasuke fought him a while back.

 

Jumping on the Bee-is-awesome Bandwagon. Wonder if he'd have said the same if he knew her real age.
And I think it's been over 100 issues since Hinata confessed. Honestly, why did Kishi do it if he didn't plan to develop it or mention it ever again? On the plus side, every time she appears she is even more awesome than before.

I still don't understand what Nagato's Rinnegan does.

 

It's basically Godmode: On!

So, let me get to the basics of it.

Complete mastery over Chakra Shape Manipulation, complete mastery over Chakra Nature manipulation. Thus allowing the holder of the Rinnegan to use and create Any Technique that wasn't based on a bloodline, like, say, the Sharingan.

Allows the user to see through multiple sets of eyes at once.

Allows the use of the 'six paths' techniques.

The 'Deva' Path which is basically Gravity Manipulation.

The 'Preta' Path was Chakra Absorption liek whoa.

The 'Animal' Path which allowed for Major Summoning (of multiple types of animals, something previously unseen in any one combatant).

The 'Human' Path, which was a Lightning Bruiser who could also read your mind by sucking your soul out (ala Shizune.)

The 'Asura' Path, which was basically a really effing scary android, it's unsure which abilities were part of this 'path' and which were inserted into it via machinery/sealing.

and the 'Naraka' Path which was basically used to summon the 'seventh' Path, the 'Outer' Path, which was supposedly 'beyond life and death' and was used to rez anyone recently dead and to interrogate bitches before sacrificing them to The King of Hell.

Oh, and lets not forget the creation and usage of the Chakra Disruption Blades, which were basically used to overwhelm the chakra of anyone they're used on for either A. Weakning/capture or B. Killing.

And for those of you ragging on Sakura, stop being assholes. The 'infiltrator' made a conversational slipup which she was aware enough to take advantage of by using a 'joke' to tell whether or not the suspected impostor had knowledge of something Neji most certainly would. It was a valid and respectable tactic, and instead then took immediate action. She fooled a high level Infiltration Specialist shinobi and kept him completely off his guard for counter attack without giving away the fact that she was suspicious.

Do I like the fact that she's still stuck on Sasauke? Fuck No. Did I like her character pre-timeskip? I couldn't effing stand her! But post-timeskip she's been shown to be skilled, knowledgeable and a hell of a lot more level headed as well as a supportive teammate. Not only did she accept the fact that Naruto houses the Kyuubi easily and without treating him badly at all, she didn't hold the fact that he lost control and injured her in the course of trying to defeat Orochimaru against him.

She's shown growth and improvement as a person and a character, she's fixed some of her issues..

Not completely, but everyone has faults, hers just happen to be ones that a bunch of white-knight 'the nice guy always finishes last' types particularly hate. They are not any more reprehensible than most other characters of the series.

Is she a totally awesome McSuperNinjaBabe? No. But I like her, Post-Timeskip.

Yeah, she's Love-Dumb, but that's most teenage girls. And most Teenage Boys. Get over it.

 

Word, she has been so cool professing her love to Naruto and still being an annoying bossy cunt but other then that hurrah pink haired ninja!

Guess we're going to get to see if Naruto has finally got down any of Minato's epicness. He's going to need it to fight Raikage.

Also, I wonder if we'll find out whether Minato and A fought. It's sort of implied they have since A's technique was compared to Minato's speed. Bee's flashback of Minato had to have come from somewhere too.

I'm starting to think that Kabuto is keeping Itachi and Nagato back as insurance against Madara. Either that or he's going to need their abilities to lock down Naruto and or Sasuke when he fights them.

 

He should have just kept her dead IMO. She's more useless as a character than Sakura in regards to the overall plot. But then I can't stand Hinata anyway...

Decent chapter was decent, but I honestly can't say that I'm looking forward to the next one. Maybe I'm wrong, and I hope I am, but I really don't think this fight between Naruto and the Raikage will be anything other than a quick couple of jutsu before Naruto gives the guy the runaround and Tsunade lets him go. Wouldn't really make sense to completely exhaust the main character with a fight against arguably the strongest Kage right before he's going to go smack some bitches.

At the very least, I can't see Naruto talking his way out of this one. Though I've been wrong before...
