Or perhaps you want him to become the 'Orange Hokage', marry Hinata, learn the Hiraishin 2.0 which is even more ridiculous than his father's technique, stomp all over 'Madara' and Kabutomaru, talk Sasuke into killing himself, and have a ton of sprogs with Hinata?

I was actually pretty cool with this chapter until the flashback-did anyone else think that it made little to no sense? I mean, if Kumo shinobi tend to work in pairs that's one thing, but for the man chosen to be Raikage to be assigned a kid half his size as his tag-team partner and then have both assigned letters for names seems retarded. And for some reason the Lariat/Double-Lariat is the definitive move of the Raikage? Wtf?

Sasuke is just too thick and self centered to fucking get it. Naruto has been the better Shinobi since The Forest of Death, I'd say. Or do you not remember that part of the reason Sasuke defected in the first place was because he was afeared of Naruto's rapid growth?

Also, you've been reading the same story I have. Have you not noticed that Kishimoto has a terrible track record with 'romance'? It's obvious that he(kishimoto) is either A. Waiting for something or B. Just doesn't think it's important enough. And C. It IS a time of war, things get crazy and normal, polite, actions get left by the wayside. Also, D. Naruto is a Teenager. A Teenager who has been starved for love and affection most of his life. He probably has No. Effing. Idea how to handle such an important and weighty subject.

 

I have to agree here. As an all around shinobi Naruto has been better for a while. Yeah Sasuke has alot of really powerful ninjustu, the ms, and all the powerful justu that goes along with it. But that's all he has. He is straight forward full power all the time whiched granted works against almost everyone but will get him slaughtered by Naruto. Naruto just has more chakra, is physically superior, can heal, and there's that little thing called strategy. For being as retarded as he is Naruto has developed a talent for strategy.

Sure Naruto relies on his clones and rasengan like Sasuke relies on his sharingan but that doesn't change the fact that sasuke is a bull in a china shop in battle.

 

Not a bad chapter, but now I'm a little worried that we're not going to get a Naruto vs. Raikage (in which we might be able to definitively see that Naruto is on par with Minato) but instead we're going to have Naruto and Bee hit Raikage with a "next generation/when did you stop caring about the things that really matter?" conversion a la Gaara and Tsuchikage.

I was okay thinking that Bee and A were blood siblings only with a large age difference, but this new revelation just goes to show how deep their relationship is. Raikage's gonna off Bee? I don't think so. He's getting called on his bullshit.

I read the "You knew my dad...?" section and thought they would've alteast had Tsunade react, since I don't think that she knew that Naruto knew.

I agree with Howdy, Raikage is getting called on his bullshit. Tsunade realized Naruto was able to control the Kyuubi fine, he must have seen it too.
I didn't really like this chapter. Needs more action.

 

-Sigh- You are STILL looking at things incorrectly. The Cursed Seal form isn't just Instant Ultra Power. You couldn't slap it on Konohamaru or Sakura or some random Grass nin and get someone capable of defeating Naruto at that stage.

And you are forgetting the Orochimaru is/was a Mad Genius, an S-Ranked Kage-Level Sannin who had delved into deep, dark research to fuel his little projects. You are ALSO forgetting that the 'two tails cloak' is not 'The Power of A Bijuu', but is instead a highly strained and weakened /tiny drop/ of the Kyuubi's power. Not exactly The Kyuubi Unleashed.

Secondarily, Sasuke did not 'Defeat' Naruto. Naruto let him win when given the choice between kill him or let him live and lose. One implies victory through naught but his own effort, and another implies a victory ceded in the face of crossing a moral line.

On Current Chapters Topic: I dunno, having military experience I can understand why Tsunade is doing what she is doing. The Raikage, as much as he's being a giant douche, is the current Military Commander of the Joint Shinobi Forces, and his leadership has allowed them to at least maintain equivilency with Madara's Evil Army of Doom(tm).

Secondarily, I can understand why he's thinking what he's thinking. His voice and opinion is that of The Many before The Few, a very socialist ideal. He doesn't /know/ Naruto. He doesn't realise that Naruto is The Hero of The Story, all he knows is that the kid is an at least marginally powerful Jinchuuiriki a bit known for his thickness and High Flying ideals.

Does that make what he's saying Right? No, but it also means he's at least understandable. The man's in a tough position, give him a break.
