Meh. Backstory is cool and all, as is a little bit of insight as to how Kumogakure picks their jinchuriki and the success rate.

 

So this seems to have clarified why Kumo tried for Kushina, not the chains, but for her host status... although it leaves the plot hole of why Konoha puts up with Kumo trying to kidnap their children.

Minato leaving words behind, it's probably something only Naruto can answer, he will say it, get the Raikage's respect by telling him something he's tried to figure out for years, or something like that.

Minato was cool with the Hiraishin, although flashbacks at this late in the game while not being major to the plot is a bit of a letdown.

 

Awesome Minato is awesome.

Looks like he cut through the tentacle almost completely, so it would seem his affinity is wind as well. Not that it's a big surprise.

But yeah, this is sort of what I was worried about. Raikage is going to get a wake-up call just like Tsuchikage did. No big Raikage vs. Naruto battle.

 

Meh. Minato was almost had. They made it so that it may actually have been a stalemate had they fought. I don't like that.

Btw, the more I read about A, the more surprised I am that he wasted his left arm at some brat like Sasuke.

 

Considering how important Bee seems to be to A I am not surprised he gave up his arm to kill Bee's "murderer"

 

What the hell are you talking about? Minato was an instant from cutting A in half. Without B there A would have lost in 2 seconds.

 

Yeah totally, also we now know that in speed Minato >> A. I am curios if they fought again later with "title kage on the line". The scene with flashback is just set up for Naruto and his saving precious people and filled hole in heart with love and all that crap. I also can wait for more Nagato/Itachi plot, maybe little reunion of Uchiha brothers?

 

I am just waiting for Itachi to bitch out Sasuke, it will be awesome.

 

This means that Bee was another Itachi... In terms of prodigious skill... But if that's the case then could you say Kumo have overall better Shinobi than the rest of the world?

 

Fact is that Kumo was consider the most powerful village according to databooks. It's hard to say with prodigy's, let's look on Kakashi for example his 12 years old, would just own 12 years old version of Sasuke and Naruto even if putted together, but look at the same characters and their 16 years old versions and situation is opposite. Bee is better and more talented then A, who himself said so.

 

True, but I was saying Kumo had overall better Shinobi because they had... What? 5 kids including Bee who were doing the compatibility test?

Kumo is considered the strongest village because they have been hording military power and because Konoha was crippled by Orochimaru and then Nagato.

In the eve of the Sannin + Sarutobi + Minato they would have rape-stomped the shit out of everyone at once, which it appears they actually did. Minus Suna who was supposedly their ally.

 

Actually, I'm pretty sure that Konoha skull-fucked every other major shinobi village at once during the second war. During the third war Suna had a non-aggression pact, I believe.

 

During the Third War, at least for Stone, it was Minato alone who wtfhaxpwned the entire army, and it seems he took out the top Cloud fighters as well. Stands to reason that it was Minato himself who made the difference considering that almost all the other players were in the Second war as well.

Currently, Howdy's right that Konoha has lost too many people to be the best. Top flight Shinobi like Sarutobi or 2/3 of the Sannin, all of the Uchiha (and their hax powers) or Hatake Sakumo or Asuma etc, it seems that Konoha doesn't have the punch neccessary to beat Cloud, who were by all accounts close to Konoha back in the glory days.

 

Are you forgetting about Naruto? Having the nine tails and now having Naruto in control of the nine tails gives them a pretty massive strength, he who defeated Pain, who destroyed their entire village single handed. You'd be able to bet that Naruto would be able to trample some entire village shinobi armies in ninetails mode. Not to mention toad sage mode and his new wtfhax sage mode.

 

In the manga if Kyuubi ever calls Naruto *kit* I will rage so hard.

Well maybe Naruto and Bee instead of defeating the Raikage they will just talk him to death. I swear I have a bad feeling Naruto will save Sasuke, Kyuubi will start calling him kit, and Naruto will admit his love for Hinata. I... I think I will stop reading the manga now

 

All this time we have been worried about Minato vs Raikage when we should have focused on Minato vs Killer Bee.

Raikage couldn't touch Minato but Bee was able to match up with Minato enough to make it suicide for Minato.

 

Bee was badass when he tried to murder Kisame with a pencil, but now he's just epic.

No wonder he trolled the shit out of Sasuke.

Well it's been shown through flashbacks that Bee faced Minato at least once after Minato had taken the title of Hokage. Minato isn't one to underestimate Bee though. Does that mean that Minato fought him near Kumogakure, if A had ordered Bee to remain in the village?

And now I'm wondering if Bee knew that Minato had married the Kyuubi jinchuuriki.
