TotalBiscuit teaching someone to play Starcraft. "I'm going to send some soldiers over there to deal with that flying crab thing (Overlord). We don't like the flying crab thing."

 

Ugh. TotalBiscuit is the last person who should be teaching StarCraft. I don't mind him casting, but teaching/coaching? No no no. That should be handled by people who actually know how to play the game.

 

It's someone who's never played the game before. I'm pretty sure he's able to teach someone how to select workers and right click the blue crystal thingies.

 

Pyro, we should just officially make you the caster for this if you're willing - basically for sure getting the finals cast, because that would just be fucking awesome.

Assuming I'm not in the finals, I'd also like to give a hand doing that if it would be useful or possible.

Edit: Just looked at Pyro's post and I have nearly the exact credentials as him. High diamond toss player who didn't cheese or 4gate my way up here, and know the builds and stuff. Would like an opportunity to cast to see if I can do it, at least for the semifinals or something.

Feck. Anyone know how to fasttrack a switch from EU to NA servers? I'm such a n00b I didn't realise there was a lock, I thought it only stopped the game from searching for NA players in quick match.

Was practising for ages, as well.

 

There should be an option in the game menu (before you put in your password) on the left side. If you can switch to the NA edition, then good. If (likely) you can't, then you can't.

Also, there is one map that allows observers to observe the match. I wanna get in this too.

 

No option to the left. The only way I can see might work is creating a new account and using a NA address... but the game copy is EU, so maybe it can only work on EU servers... or something.

 

Wait... first put in a bad password, so it reverts to your account name. Then that option should show up. If there is no option, then your game is region locked.

I have the SEA edition, which means I can play on both NA and SEA.

 

Looks like I'm region locked. The Bliz forums say to email them to sort it out, so I suppose that'll have to do. Nightspy mentioned this earlier, too, I see.
