On a more serious note, its quite likely this is a troll with an agenda, if only because I don't know why a newbie would write such a shitty story in early May, not touch it for two months, and then after he's written four other little stories submit to it DLP under a misspelled name. This is probably just the most horrible yet plausible story that a quick search could dredge up.

I picked this story because the others are crossovers and are crappier than this one. I did infact write it, but only now decided to post it.

My name was a simple typo I really don't think is important enough to fix.

I am currently re-writing it before I post it in WBA.

I feel like I, as a 13 year old, should defend the 12 year olds as I was one not a long time ago.

Sadly, I can't, because of my (very) limited morals. This is mostly due to the fact that if there is a good one, I have yet to see it. Hell, there's almost none my age, either. Really, would it kill some of them to use spellcheck at the very least? Or actually just not write at all. There really needs to be some sort of quality standards on fanfiction...

Question for you more experienced DLPers. How do you 'Thumbs up' something? I am terribly confused by this...and I couldn't find it in the FAQ either.

Oh. And 'refury200' or 'redfury200', yes changing your name is a good idea. You're reminding me an awful lot of Tara Gilesbie right now...And of those shame to writers that decide that 'Avarda Kerdarva' is just as effective as 'Avada Kedavra.'

No, just no. There's a difference between two things being spelled differently. In the 'Avada Kedavra example, here's what I mean: Would you rather be this: :awesome or this: ?

Congrats on seeing the sense in improving your story. As much I used to enjoy reading cliches like this, I wasn't even able to scroll down the page, now. I think it was after reading 'Mom.' It's Mum. British people say 'Mum' or 'Mummy' instead of Mom or Mommy. I used to live there, trust me on that. But, no, I tried to read on and saw James as the Minister. :facepalm

Nevertheless, I persisted. And found the 'word' AKA. You never use those text-abbreviation-things (I can't remember the name, if there is one.)

Can't be bothered to review any more. I don't even want to know what horrors are past 'AKA'.

And no your faux outrage at 12 year olds not using spellcheck isnt working. They. ARE. TWELVE. And besides spell check wouldn't pick up on some of the words anyways. "Avada Kedavra" is not in any dictionary. Though the common words is inexcusable as well.

Some serious newb hating here. I find this interesting considering there's currently a thread in 'Fanfic Discussion' lamenting the decline of the HP fandom.

The thing that truly declined is the need for anything involving that smiley.
