I'm just waiting for Ichigo to remind these silly fuckups the lengths he is willing to go to defend a friend; Soul Society? Hueco Mundo? If he's resisting and/or trying to kill someone, given Aizens powers that they surely remember about, why would they possibly doubt him?

start battling Orihime and Chad.

Since both of those two have powered-up, perhaps we will witness some interesting new moves.

 

Orhime new shield was badass enough, hopefully she has some new badass offensive moves too :awesome. I doubt Chad will have anything thats to much cooler, considering he already had some cool attacks

 

Hm, there is one thing that bothers me a little. Why doesn't Tatsuki have any powers? Seriously. She's known Ichigo the longest out of his Karakura friends, and she's close enough to the Kurosaki family that the following exchange occurred.

Karin: "So what if Ichigo brings home a girl? Tatsuki comes here all the time."

Yuzu: But that's Tatsuki! She doesn't count. She's not really a love interest.

Karin: Tatsuki's been a stunner ever since she went to high school and her breasts popped out. Anyway, I'm not going to surprised if Ichigo bring home a girl, unless she's at least around Orihime's level in her looks.

, shouldn't Tatsuki also have some powers? She's been closer to Ichigo, at least before Rukia arrived.

Just something to think about. Kubo either has planned something out for Tatsuki way, way, waaaay ahead in advance, or he has terribad planning.

 

Perhaps, given the ridiculously huge number of characters that were introduced in the Soul Society arc, Kubo didn't want to have deal with another protagonists. Potentially three extras if you include Keigo and Mizuiro.

 

Ehhhh, I don't know. Kubo never really gave a fuck about bringing in useless old characters.

With the element of surprise Ichigo had when he took off Tsukishima's arm, he could have just as easily taken off his head instead. This whole thing could have already been done. I am so disappoint.

 

Then again, considering the way Orihime's healing powers work, I wouldn't completely rule out the possibility that she could fix a chopped off head just as easily as a chopped off arm.

 

She may be able, but the question is if his powers will stop work with him dead. If not, then it would be funny to see Ichigo finally kill this bastard after ten chapters of fight (or more), only to have Orihime bring him back a moment later for a second round.

 

It's like this in almost every manga, and it really gets on my nerves. Why end it when you can stretch the battle out for a few issues and talk about things no one cares about? A part of me thinks Ichigo will reach the point where he can absorb abilities of others in this battle. That was the end goal for all of this was it not?

 

Don't give Kubo ideas.

 

I'd like to mention here that Bleach has consistently been in the bottom five comics in the weekly polls at Jump.

There's a literal fire under Kubo's ass to get writing better or at least more popular shit, as Bleach is in real danger of getting canceled.

If you don't believe such a major franchise can get dropped like a pregnant girlfriend, you only need to look at Shaman King to see another extremely popular comic that got dropped in its final arc.

 

The Tankoban has been pretty good in terms of sales, though. It seems Kubo's been focusing more on that than the weekly work.

 

Much as I love to complain about Bleach, and I do, I would like to see it to the end. I've sat through a million bloody fights and so many pointless characters I think I need the closure of a proper ending.

Though knowing Kubo, he'll probably have some more fucking filler immediately after the end and just keep rolling, DBZ style.

Oh wait, he did that already and we're already in the post-manga filler stage. Guess it doesn't really matter then.
