Dream match up? probably. Still think Nagato would have been better of as a final villain but Madara has been growing on me ever so slightly. So it isn't as big as a fail a it was a few months ago.

 

Still hoping for Kabuto as final villain. He just seems more interesting than Madara, to be honest.

Either way, looking forward to finally finding out what that weird crow was that Itachi forced down Naruto's throat.

 

Half the update being talking isn't to my tastes, but at least we know what the Mizukage does. And he's a legit boss. :awesome

 

If this dream fight is gonna really happen, it will be Epic.

 

Mostly Gaara learning his life was a lie...

The ending was good. I'm hoping Nagato might get a word or two in with Naruto...

The image after the chapter finished with tiny Gaara made me go "wtf", all in all next week looks like it will be good. Also looking foward to finding out what the crow shoved down his throat was.

 

What I thought when I read the chapter title: Naruto is going to fight Itachi? Wow, I'll actually read this week's chapter, then.

What really happened: Blah blah parents, love, some fighting, and then a few panels at the end where Naruto encounters Itachi.

Don't use titles like that, god dammit.

 

Idk if it's just me but I really hope Naruto doesn't get a dojutsu.

 

Awesome chapter was awesome.

Just goes to show that there are good people in the Narutoverse that feel they are forced to do evil things to keep the status quo. Makes Naruto's eventual win and transformation of the ninja world more easy to accept for me.

Nagato, Itachi, Bee, and Naruto... how much badass can you fit into a single chapter? I'm anxiously waiting.

 

Saw the title " Itachi vs Naruto" said fuck yes and wasted the next minutes skimming gaaras daddy issues.

 

Goddamnit but I enjoyed this chapter. It felt, unlike the other fillerish character developments that were farted out recently, that this was actually productive. I really liked it.
And shit is getting closer to the fan. Awesome is on the way.

 

So who's going to stop the Raikage and the Mizukage? Certainly not those run-of-the-mill ninja...

 

There's a bunch of secondary characters over there. I wouldn't be so sure.

 

I see the new SixPaths beating most of them and Naruto comes along to hax them or something, or even Naruto and Sasuke double team them after the Naruto v Sasuke fight...

 

Itachi and Nagato were the most compelling villains in Naruto's history. More of them can never be a bad thing. Extending this cliffhanger would be balls, a good fight and some much needed exposition on Madara must be forthcoming.

 

I've seen a lot of talking about this chapter, but everyone seems to have missed the key point:

"My summon is: A GIANT CLAM!"

 

Quick question:

Are there any panels showing Madara with the MS or EMS in his "current" state? I remember plenty of close-ups of his Sharingan, but I can't recall ever seeing it in its MS form.

Help me out here.

 

I don't think so. I skimmed few chapters where I know he shows up and in all these times he had a normal Sharingan. I doubt he will use MS mode before entering a fight, even if it suppose to cost him nothing.

 

Howdy, no. There are only flashblacks that shows Madara and Izuma Mangekyo's and Madara Eternal, when fighting Hashirama Senju. If with "current state" you mean, from times he wears masks, only regular tree-tomoe sharingan.

 

I wonder then if that's what he means when he says he lost most of his power fighting Hashirama. He Izanagi'd both his EMS eyes, and he can't get them back. After all, I'm sure he would have used MS against Minato in their fight if he could have.
