    EDIT: Everyone who's just starting and needs money, try shortselling timber. In the last hour it's gone from 3 mil to 900k back to 3 mil.

    Yea we got the AA bank up and running. So register on forums and once you are masked fill out the aid sheet in the finance sub-forum. We will instruct you on what to do with it.

    I can't visit the alliance forum for some reason. Even Chrome won't load it. Hmmm.

    It's a great game though. I'd like to think my nation is doing pretty well. The only thing that annoys me is that you can't import/export energy. I have a huge surplus now and absolutely nothing to do with it.

    I wish I'd gotten steel instead of bauxite.

    Here's a question I haven't seen an answer to anywhere: do the laws you pass actually do anything at all? Because I just declared myself Dictator For Life and have seen no consequences thus far.

    I swear, four out of five applicants, if not more, have this issue, me included.

    Re: the laws, I wouldn't know, not being able to pass any. A law granting everybody the right to due process and innocent until proven guilty, and my government refused to pass it (many of my own party members not voting for it). :facepalm

    You'd think you'd start out with one... :facepalm I've got 0.1% happiness, 80% crime rate and 35% literacy and disease. 3rd World Farmer was easier than this.

    Lol. I'm still with 270 of my people. I don't think I'll do any elections soon. :p

    I thought you did start out with a coal power plant? I've just had to buy some coal to keep up the supply needed to run it.

    Aid is being sent out today along with instructions. Tomato you have to do research to get to solar. Though it's only useful once you have a shit ton of them.
