You should be banhammered for sheer stupidity.

I'm noticing a trend. Whenever some fucking idiot posts a stupid comment or thread, they always blame it on being drunk or some sort of mind altering surgery. So, I have but one question for you. Are you old enough to be drinking?

Edit: Nevermind, your spelling is excused on account of being British.

    Nope. That's the British spelling.

    Fixed that for you ;).

Also, I've noticed a worryingly high percentage of recent DLP retards seem to have been British, so I'm putting them on notice: retards of Britain - you'll be first up against the wall when the revolution comes! (it's imminent, honest)

I'm fairly new here, but I think I know how to do this. Link: https://forums.darklordpotter.net/profile.php?do=ignorelist

Copy paste the name of user that you want to ignore, and that's it.

PS: About the story OP linked: I've tried to read it, ignored the grammar errors, focused only to its plot and characters, but I still found it horrible. Maybe just my personal distaste, but...

    Sorry.

That was not funny. You have failed to make it funny. Please dont try to be funny.

That was for blatant stupidity. I doubt people have been banned for posting bad stories. Though....

@OP This is a phase you're going through? We've all had similar fanfiction phases but we didnt SHARE it with everyone else!

Ok, first of all, the English invented English. Don't tell me how to use it. Second, were you at the age of majority when you first got drunk? I am, but that's besides the point. Third of all, I get you guys don't care much for this, so here's an idea: Stop continuing it. I have no idea how to close a thread, but if I find out, then this will be actually closed.

Actually, the modern English language wasn't just 'invented' - it, like the other Indo-European languages that are either alive or dead within this current day and age, evolved over time from other preceding languages - either directly or indirectly (such as borrowing words, like 'Queen' - originally, it was 'Kween.')

The root of all known Indo-European languages was the 'Proto Indo-European' language.

Definition wise, two and three are out, obviously, but the first one on the above quote also wouldn't quite fit the bill: 'to invent' a language would require structured thought and planning in its creation, like how James Cameron developed the Na'vi language for Avatar - since modern English evolved naturally and somewhat randomly (meaning without planning or a structured guidance) from other languages over a long period of time, the first definition on that quote also could not logically apply.

As mentioned before, the Proto Indo-European language also wasn't just 'invented' (according to definition one): it most likely evolved out of grunts and gestures, like "Grahhh" for "Shit!" or "Hmmm!" for "Food!"

    http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4f/IndoEuropeanTree.svg

A detailed history of the Indo-European language family tree.

As for 'apologise' and 'apologize' - either are acceptable in informal written works, such as fiction or casual writing. American English is just a well known dialect, after all.

If, however, you were going to write a technical paper on something or write something in 'formal English,' using American English grammar and syntax, for example, in Britain would be frowned upon, and most probably have your paper/projected rejected outright. Same thing for British English in the United States.

I know that, off of the top of my head, Pers would know more about this/would correct me if I'm wrong - I'm not at all familiar with the whole 'academic'/research thing.

You, the original dumbass thread creator, cannot close a thread, as you do not have the board rights to do so - only a moderator or an administrator can do that. I thought that was obvious? You have been on the internet before, right?

Monkeynuts, people already think that you're a complete and utter twat, who deserves a banning - my personal opinion of you is that you try to be witty and clever in order to try and fit in, and you fail miserably at it.

The attempts, replies, and back-pedals /excuses make you look like a complete and utter prat - an immature idiot, and every idiotic post that you create further compounds the near universal dislike and disdain felt for you, by the other members of this board.

Some people have already started to call for your banning.

My advice would be to shut the fuck up and lurk for about a year or so, because even I can tell that if you continue down this road of retarded behavior, it isn't going to end well for you.

EDIT: also, I agree with the post that Taure linked to, even though it's highly likely that I would be put into the line of fire, too. :facepalm
