    I got mine immediately after I signed up.

    I happened to refresh the moment the clue went up, so I was pretty quick on registration.

    Ditto. I also refreshed when the clue came up, even before the mass hordes from the other Potter forums posted that the clue was up. So yeah, got in early.

    If you login after you receive the email, I think you get something like this:

    A lot of people from other forums are waiting for their emails too, though. It makes me wonder if either the traffic is that large or there's some sort of cap to the number of people. :/

    Incredibly, it was the least faggy choice.

    No validation. I'm anticipating that I'm well out of time, because I only just woke up, went meh and did the quill thing. That said, if I get in and hundreds of thousands of people who were up and waiting for the exact moment don't, I'll cream.

    Sweet, I got my email. I confess; I haven't read up on how it works to closely - does that mean you're guaranteed an early entrance, or is it just a registration for the site in general?

    I hate that they're forcing shitty usernames on everyone (BludgerCrimson103, here), but I suppose its better than seeing a billion "ILUVDRAC0654" like names. Oh, the horror.

    The way I understand this, once you got your first mail and validated the account, you're definitely in the Beta. Then, eventually (days, weeks?) you will get a second "welcome" mail, saying now you can use the site. This might be a different time for each user. Until you get that mail, all you will be able to do is change your account details and stuff like that.
