But I don't really get how you're supposed to make money other than waiting a shit ton of time. Is it from the international market? A glitch?

 

Aside from the initial extractor/refinery investments, resource production costs nothing. People make money by selling their resources on the market. Occassionally, there are spikes and stuff that make it a proper windfall (like now), but give the current market a few days and it'll be back to its normal depressed state, unless something is done, so I'd advise selling soon.

 

I like the new limited resource idea. Now the market isn't infinite, which is a good thing. As it stands now, it will probably take me about two weeks to extract everything.

As for the array, I would like to build one myself, but I need more military resources. Anyone here feeling particularily giving in Steel, Aluminum & Processed Rubber? To the tune of 20 thousand? I'd be willing to give 42 thousand in Crude Oil.

 

Meeh, I voted for letting the asteroid hit. Does not cost me any extra resources and betting on it will hit someone other than me.

It is good to see that the second city has become somewhat cheaper as 2.6bil was pretty damn expensive. Though luck for those buying a second city before the cost decrease.

Eh... Im not sure if its worth attempting to contribute to it. It looks like once it hits 50k anyone can commission it. Which is kind of shitty for whoever contributed a lot of the resources and couldnt click build fast enough.

Check again. The Admin fixed it to be better for lending than borrowing, though you'll still have to pay a heft amount.

I'm just waiting for my secondary nation to reach three days so I can restart it again, send 500 million to my primary nation, and repeat for the next two weeks so I can buy another city. :awesome

Admin has set up a stable world which will only experience changes and modifications after they have been tried out in the sandbox. Every week or two changes will be made to the stable world to update it. Reset will happen to the stable world, but only very rarely.


Admin plans to use the sandbox to try things out. He'll artificially grow peoples populations, give people lots of money, cut resource supplies randomly, give people research for free to see how it affects things etc.

Yeah, I can't be fucked to rebuild at this point. I'll come back when he stops fucking resetting and erasing significant time periods of effort.

 

With the server split your nation not in the sandbox should be reset and rolled back a lot less. New things and changes will be happening on there first, then if they work out and are stable added to the main world a couple of weeks later. Of course the main world will still be reset sometimes, but then the game is in Alpha, what did you expect?

 

He's resetting because...oh my god...its in alpha. He's still developing the game.

 

The reset was quite soon after the last one I think, but I am not really bothered by it. The game needed some serious tweaking and adjustment and it was given just that.

The warehouse system and more limited resources seems appears to have been a good idea, though I will have to wait a little while to see how it affects things more thoroughly before I can come up with anything conclusive.

Right guys, war is breaking out in the Stable server. GOONs has declared on Guardian. GOONs has the WA bloc, along with TFE and a few other. We are with Guardian, along with NPO, RE, Sparta, Odessa and possibly some others.

Its the first big war, and GOONs is looking to make it last as long as they can.
