We tend to change our PO server choice based on trivial things like time of day and etc.

 

Im really interested in this. Reading some of the comments, people mention wildcards. Is pokemon Online similiar to the pokemon games or the trading cards, because I'm kinda confused.

 

Wildcards are just random Pokemon that don't share the type that the rest of the team has. Basically, think of a person with five water-type Pokemon and the sixth, the wildcard, being a grass-type or something. Wildcards are used to surprise challengers or to counter certain Pokemon / types.

I'll join the League. I'm expecting to get hammered, but it should be good fun.

Hopefully this would reinvigorate the League and start some activity again.

My current ladder team (Terrakion should have a Life Orb instead of a Lum Berry, but Lutris likes playing with Item Clause because leftovers are imbalanced or something)

Problems with my current ladder team:

No ground type, no status absorber (celebi kinda counts), no really bulky steel type.

If you're just starting out I recommend playing with my provided team, it'll do well on ladder (if you choose to play against randoms) and against other DLPers. Look up each pokemon in the team on the Smogon Analysis index to see what's up with them, and when you're playing and you see something new or funky or whatever look it up as well (I did when I started playing gen 5). Once you have some experience, you can start building new teams.

 

Although the DLP League is rather dead, I'll still bother to post. Moreover, Smogon has finally finalised their tiers and analysis for B/W. Their decisions are rather interesting. =O

I'm pretty certain that that list doesn't include dreamworld versions of most/some pokemon since they haven't been released everywhere yet.

 

Are there still people playing? Coz, I would be interested in playing again.

I count five counterparts. Yeah.

In my defense I didn't even know those last two existed. My collection is incomplete, and I can't fit them all on one team now. D:
