It received some good responses over at WbA, but For Review is much more... brutal, so I'm posting it here.

From my most clinical and unbiased-as-possible point of view, I think the best part of the fic was the interaction between Harry, the Horcrux in his head and Voldemort. It seems to be missing a certain measure of detail in relation to setting, et cetera, which could probably use some work.

Maybe 4+/5 rounded down?

I'm thinking 4.5, but rounding up because of the well-constructed back-and-forth of Harry's feelings, which as I pointed out in my WbA post, was mirrored in fem!Voldemort's treatment of Harry.

 

I still like this a lot. If you had gone back and added some more detail I could have given it a perfect score. As it is, I say 4/5.

@Plothole: I'll probably go and do that sometime... in the future... yeah. But actually, I will. I just want to forget it, then go back, because as it is, I'm finding myself mystified as to how to improve it :X

 

I liked this. I thought the ending was a bit rushed, as well as the part where Hermione and Ron were killed. Other than that it was good. I have actually never seen a female Voldemort story, although I mostly read on ff.net, so this was different form. 4/5.

 

As far as I know, this is one of the three threads with Voldebabe :X (see T3t's Thunderstorm for more of the awesome).

If (when?) I get to rewriting this, hopefully I'll be extending those parts (and adding more description to everything else)

 

It's strange that there's so little Fem!Voldemort stories out there. The sheer amount of divergence from Voldemort being female would make for great stories. I like the fic, but since it's a oneshot, it doesn't get to explore the area more.

We're only given snippets of the characters, but it's still pretty good. 4/5.

/me fully recommends T3t's Thunderstorm for the pioneering of the fem!TR ship.

 

I never did understand why it never caught on. There are enough H/V shippers that it should have picked up more momentum than it has, but I digress.

Harry/fem!TR is definitely more extreme than Harry/Bellatrix :X

 

It never caught on, because it was a very recent ship from Nuhuh's Alabaster & Vermilion which was written when I tried to troll the idea of Harry/Fem!TMR

 

Yeah, the ship was literally created a few months ago. Before sunkarapk's "Tomiko Riddle" thread there were no HP/Fem!TR stories (afaik).

 

And now we have yours T3t, and the world is great again.

Impressive. It's quite hard to properly convey emotions, especially the dark temptations and feelings within. I would like to give it a perfect score simply for managing to do that while keeping the feeling of self-betrayal and loathing, but as others have said, it lacks detail. Also, while the fight scene was good, it was somewhat confused, not making a lot of sense. The urgency and immediacy of the fic gives it a compelling and realistic aspect, but it necessitates that the fights and interactions are kept short and confusing.
Nevertheless, kudos for managing such a ship with such accuracy. 4.5/5
