Five to one odds says Aizen will claim responsibility for all of this when he inevitably breaks out.

Well, this chapter blows almost every fanon characterization of Yamamoto out the window. Good on it.

 

Yeah, getting rid of the idea that Yamamoto is Lawful Stupid was nice.

On the other hand, not liking the revelations about Ginjo.

 

Welp, we were kind of stupid for expecting Bleach of all series to suddenly turn around and become awesome again. I realized, as soon as the Ginjo reveal came, that we are going to face another fucking motive rant. Christ I'm getting sick of them.

 

I wasn't expecting the new reveal about Ginjo. However, I'm actually intrigued. The existence of that badge did imply that Substitute Shinigamis had preceded Ichigo. I was always curious about how those predecessors fared.

Some of the character redesigns are cool. Renji, Kenpachi and Hitsugaya look better than before, imo.

 

I think I like the revelation about Ginjo. If nothing else, it gives him the ability to actually fight Ichigo realistically--there's no way some bitchass Fullbring is going to stand against a shikai, let alone bankai.

A hopeful thought that just occured to me: what if this entire Fullbring arc is little more than a filler while Kubo gathers material for the next big one?

 

The problem with that reasoning is, at least in my opinion, the story would have been better off if Ichigo just stomped Ginjo into the ground and we put this entire arc to rest.

 

You know we have 2 or 3 captains, plus some vice-captains there, along Ichigo, Uruhara and Ichigo's father.

Those fullbring bitches ain't gonna live long.

You know, besides the mandatory 10 chapter history dump

 

I really, really, hope we are proven wrong there. It's only been there for a page but I'm already disgusted by the over-done drawing work on Ginjo's costume.

 

This has nothing to do with the current chapter but I have to ask, why didn't Ichigo look for his Mom in Soul Society?

 

Didn't she get eaten by a Hollow? That aside, can you imagine how many billions of souls there must be there? Unpossible.

 

I guess, it's mostly because Ichigo isn't someone who lives in the past. His mother is dead, he moved on.


On Ginjo: I hope he is dealt with quickly. But if they really needed Ichigo to come back and do it, he should have some fight in him. I, too, hope that after this Fullbring nonsense is over, we will see SS again.

Whoever said that this Fullbring stuff should have happened earlier, before the SS arc was completely right.

 

..... Fuck, now Kubo has powered all of the fullbringers up with Ichigo's power. Well there goes the idea that this will be a short smack down fight.

 

How the hell he transfer the power to the rest? Who say so? Having all the Captains join in and it will be short..
