Players with night actions need to bold their actions when PMing them to me. The first PM you received should provide the correct text you need to use. Failure to do so will simply result in recording a non-action by me in the player log. I will return a response to PMs sent to me.

Some of us did not survive the night:

A man wearing a hooded robe visited Xiph0's home and used several dark curses on him, killing him. Xiph0 was a Wizard.

A masked individual visited Lutris's home and used the Killing Curse on him. Lutris was a Wizard.

Day 2 has started

Terrible losses have been suffered the previous evening. I say, we must fight back!

Well, in accordance with the intended plan that we have laid out, I have investigated Taure. I honestly wasn't really expecting it, both getting lucky so early and due to the extremely token defense he had received, but...

After a long night of investigation, I was both shocked and appalled, appalled and shocked, to discover that Taure was...

...as GUILTY as they come. Exactly what he is guilty of, I have been unable to derive, but he is most assuredly a bad dude. That's what my investigations have lead me to discover at least. As such, he is either one of the accursed Death Eaters, or potentially worse, a rogue Dark Wizard.

I sincerely hope that our Healer would be willing to give me the trust to cover me. Trust which could be confirmed quite easily by following through and eliminating the traitor to all good little Wizards and Witches, Taure. My integrity will be verifiable and proven.

Also, if our Hit Wizard would cover me as well, for at least the next night or two, it would assure that, if I announce myself as having been roleblocked, then we would be able to discover who the Sorcerer/ess is promptly as well. Just don't go outing the Healer by accident!

We must work together in these dark times.

Nope, I only get informed of innocence or guilt. Kind of bothered me too.

It's possible the meager defense Taure received was because he is the Dark Wizard, so Death Eaters wouldn't even think to defend him anyway. Alternately... the Death Eaters pretty much felt he was going to die anyway, and are letting him flounder.

As an aside, after discovering a guilty person on my first investigation, I wrote up my post(minus the minor edit of remembering to vote) ahead of time. I was refreshing this page, almost giddily, eager to post the results since there actually were results. Hopefully that only marks me as eager for justice and the pro-town side actually winning this time, as opposed to bloodthirsty.

Looking at the old Death Eaters thread, it seems that Merrill calls the Death Eaters "masked individual(s)". Moreover, the Death Eaters wouldn't so amazingly stupid to kill Xiph0, who was the first to lynch Taure (assuming that Taure is a DE).

Hence, I postulate that "man in a hooded robe" = rogue Dark Wizard and "masked individual" = Death Eater.

If Fenraellis is a Death Eater and this is one elaborate scheme from their part, I would applaud them for their ingenuity and then break something. Nonetheless, he seems rather genuine at the moment.

It seems a little too odd that Taure goes out of his way to be pompous and then is actually a DE, but atm it's the best lead (of sorts) that we have.

I'm assuming that he didn't give a fuck and was trolling or Fen is a Death Eater. One or the other.

 

If Fen's a DE, it's safe to assume Zeit is as well considering he's the one who pretty much validated Fen's claim.

 

While it is a possibility I agree, would they really just toss him to the wolves like that? If he is lying then we're killing him the next day no questions asked so either way we're going to end with a dead Death Eater and all they would gain is a single dead wizard and putting everyone on their guard.

 

@Cracked: Pretty much what I would have said if I didn't think it would lead to Zeit calling me a HoS supporter / other totally invalid retarded shit in an attempt to deflect attention.

 

I have a feeling that Zeitgeist is right, and Taure is the Dark Wizard.

In some ways, this is for the best, since if a Death Eater had been killed, then we would still get two deaths in the next Night Phase(s). At least this way, if he is a Dark Wizard, the Pro-Town side will suffer attrition more slowly as we hunt out the Death Eaters.

 

How did I validate his claim? If you say stuff like that again, people will think you're a few butterbeer corks away from a full necklace. =/

Do you guys think that there was any specific reason that Lutris was killed? (Or Xiph0, I suppose, but that one sounded like it was the dark wizard) I don't remember either of them posting much at all, though Lutris drew some suspicion from some with his declaration of his role. Was it just random?

I'm pretty shocked that Taure actually seems to have turned out to be guilty, though - it just seems too easy for this stage. Though we would have killed him anyway this turn even if the auror hadn't said anything, I'm willing to bet.
