Just one thing to keep in mind if you look at todays discussion: the Death Eaters thought that Hero of Stupidity was innocent.

    @Palindrome, jwlk
The Warlock is - I think - only useful if we have a situation like: either A or B is guilty and we lynch the wrong one. Then (s)he could immediately kill the other one at night so we don't have to waste a lynch on the next day.

So, Zeit: do you still think I was protecting the Dark Wizard?

Well... The Warlock is a tricksy sort of weapon to use. With the exception of a circumstance where we have two verified guilty targets at the same time(Investigation + Hit Wizard discovery), than any target of the Warlock could easily be innocent too. Until the Sorcerer/ess is eliminated, such a situation is relatively unlikely to occur. Of course, at that point, there are only three anti-town individuals remaining.

All in all, the real difficult point, is if we get to only having the Dark Lord remaining. As far as I know, they don't have to kill anybody at night, so as long as they can avoid suspicion, and somehow make it to the end(Healer/Auror/Dark Lord, hah). Then again, if we somehow get to having the Healer/Hit Wizard/Auror/Death Eater as the remainder, then the game should be solved simply by the Healer outing themselves, and the Hit Wizard confirming it, followed by a quick lynch.

That would be an intense and suspense-filled game if we got down to the wire like that. Honestly, I just hope to get the Death Eater count down at least two more members before I fall. Like Fiat, this latest round, has actually given me some seemingly decent clues. Hopefully, they are just not unfortunately-speaking innocents.

Fiat, you said if he was innocent, that you'd have some clue on whoever it was your found suspicious. Well, from a DE's perspective, they didn't know he was guilty, so it should still count. Would you be willing to tell us your thoughts?

Well, the fact that he wasn't innocent kind of fucks with my guesses - if he was a vanilla wizard it'd be different, but the fact that he actually was guilty and therefore suspicious for a reason invalidates any ideas I had, and as such any accusations I make would probably be unfounded.

So yeah, I wake up and check the mafia thread, and turns out that we caught the Dark Wizard, nice.

...And looks like my hunch was right. =O

Thank you for listening to me, people. And Fiat Piscis, you've dropped a few places on my DE list. However, I will remind you that quite a few people still suspect you.

And yes, I know that I'm hypocritical to make that assertion, since many people suspect me as well. Now, Fenraellis, how about investigating mishie/jwlk? The situation with Vira still warrants attention.

Well, for all intents and purposes, he might as well have been innocent. Nobody else knew about him being guilty/dark wizard, even some of the people who voted for him. So wouldn't it make sense that your suspicions are still accurate?

Well, suspicious or not, for all intents and purposes, even the Death Eaters had no more reason to consider him innocent or guilty(as a Dark Wizard at least) than anyone else. So, if Death Eaters bandwagoned, it's effectively the same as if he was an innocent.

Whatever your reasoning may have been, I doubt it was invalidated by him being the Dark Wizard, since he is effectively an 'innocent' in that regard.

[Edit: Ninjas be all over the place!]

Not really: at the least, my assumptions now have less backing and I want to save them to prevent any observations being fucked up upon announcing my suspicion of people.

Once I've got something more concrete - which is what a "Wizard" HoS would have been - I'll state my opinion on who the remaining death eaters are.

EDIT: Oh fuck, didn't realize it was after 10. My bad.

I stayed up all night just to see yet another one of our own get chopped down? :facepalm

So what does this tell us? Do we leave mishie off the hook now, trust she's not a Death Eater and focus on other people? Fen, did you investigate her?

jwlk, you will be missed. Well, by some of us. At least you were an active poster.

Another night, another innocent. Hopefully we can come to a proper target today, with only our suspicions to guide us.
