On of my first thoughts was that Nathan will die at the resurrection ritual, sending Harry over the edge through grief or possible guilt if he is an indirect cause.

 

I don't understand the logic that Harry will 'snap' or go over the edge. He's already a dark wizard by the nature of the magic he uses, I'd imagine. It's far more likely that there's a realistic development of his character, leading to further immersion in the more unsavoury magics.

Or the author could go full retard and have him be a frothing-at-the-mouth crucio-slinging dark lord, as several seem to imply.

I have my doubts.

 

Shouldn't Kira be with them? She could be among the other dozen or so students off to sulk silently and alone, but she usually skulks around Viktor. She shouldn't be old enough to compete since she's only a 6th year. I don't think it's been noted in this thread yet.

 

It has been discussed. Kira, like Cedric Diggory, is a sixth year that will be seventeen by the time of the tournament.

 

Read carefully, she is there and she competes.

 

I knew she was at the meeting. I just forgot that some students could be 17 in their 6th year. I was just confusing it with how schools do it here.
