Personally I'm damn happy about this but why the Smurfs!?

 

I've played the demo, it's reasonably fun.

Also, it looks like they plan to make money by offering DLCs for most of the other chapters. Have to admit, charging people not to be stuck playing as an Ultrasmurf is a good way to make a few extra dollars.

 

Aren't that the truth... I'm going to get Space Wolf skin for DLC.. The chapters I recall that need special skins are Dark Angel, White Scar, Space Wolf and Salamanders and their sub chapters.

 

Dark Angels all the way.

 

You know, a few months back I was thinking 'Man it'd be cool if they made a 40k shooter', a few days later, I heard about this.

I saw a commercial for this on TV a few day ago. Didn't look very original or exciting.

 

Pros: Killing lots of Orks.
Cons: Having to use pawns of the Human Emperor.

 

Played the demo, Orks need more god damn Dakka, I was being shot at and I didn't here a single one.

Honestly as I'm sure is obvious, I'm most interested in the inquisition.... so if there was an rpg for that I would be the first to buy it.

It's a third person shooter that actively discourages the use of cover and gives you a chainsword.

Seems original enough to me (except when retarded bloggers are claiming that 40k ripped off Gears of War).

Such an awesome unit in the game, its incredibly satisfying to watch the looks of horror on other peoples faces when a single unit with 4 life points, artificer armor, twin-linked storm bolters, and dual powerfists walks onto the field and destroys everything that moves. Oh, and God of War kicks ass!

Killing an avatar in close combat still makes me smile.

 

The fact that this is an actual feat he's demonstrated in Matt Ward's version of 40k canon makes me laugh.

 

Sadly, it looks like the verse it's set in will be the only really great thing about this game.
