It is most likely that the rebels did not have any idea whom they killed and just used their clean-up ability to confuse us. Still, it stands that chances are good that one of them at least had some sort of power role and we don't really have a chance of knowing that. A lucky shot is just as dangerous as an aimed one. We might "only" have lost two innocent citizens but we could have just as easily lost our healer or our investigator.

The day is still young, I would want to wait for more concrete hints on who to vote for. We need a lynch today, yes, but random bandwagoning won't help us, as Lutris said.

I will join the Oliver bandwagon, since he seems to rather suspect if we don't find someone better later on.

We know that that at least two innocents are dead. We know that two more individuals are dead. We know, assuming that the roles of the victims were known only to themselves and they didn't blab to the rebels like morons, that they were killed randomly. We know that the rebels no longer have the ability to "clean up" the evidence. We know that the rebels know the roles of the victims after the killings.

Calutron, I believe you are mistaken when you say "assume nothing". We can assume that the use of the Senators power was deliberate. We can assume that the goal was a lucky snipe of the probe, or astromech, or healers. We can assume that these first two days they were just as blind anyone.

What we CANNOT assume is that the rebels did not get lucky.

The probe, if still alive, must be patient. At the moment there are (at most) three individuals that can provide some measure of protection to it. A conclusive verdict must be reached.

But that doesn't mean we can be idle. I've always been in favor of swift action on the part of the people though. Two votes in has already established some patterns (me being scummy for instance). I'm suspicious of all of you, but I know my role in this, and have nothing to fear from Imperial law.

Oliver, sorry man, but one of us is gonna get it today. If its not your head, it's mine.

and i totally misread your post, sorry.

(previously I had the senator blurb copy pasted and the parts where it says the senator finds out what role the deceased had after they die bolded)

I don't think that there is any way the Rebels knew who they were taking out. That does not however, mean that they didn't get any of our important roles. At this point we just can't know what they got and what they didn't.
I am suspicious of ALB mostly. I'm still on the fence about Oliver, because other than the mistake on the first day he hasn't really done anything. I'm also a bit suspicious of Dark Minion because of how bloodthirsty he is. If Oliver turns out to be innocent that could point to Dark Minion being a Rebel who's trying to manipulate us.
I don't want to answer that. Even the most pro-town people can turn out to be Rebels. Saying any names just makes us less likely to vote for someone who may have been suspicious.

It seems like such a waste this early in-game, especially since it’s doubtful that Lungs or Matt had night roles. I still stick by with my theory that the cleanups were to spread confusion and Lungs and Matt’s deaths were random.

ATB sticks out in my mind for starting the bandwagon on Klael, and Riley with his random voting of Republic on last night’s bandwagon.

Honestly? Kai, you do. It’s hard to hide the bitterness that the last game caused you and you just seem very pro-town in a bitter, robot kind-of-way. If that made any sense. D:

I agree with Plothole that I was suspicious of Oliver at first, but he hasn’t done anything lately, which has made him fall lower on my scum-scale. While that could have been what Oliver planned, I’m going to wait a while until voting.

I'm not sure Oliver is really guilty, but I learned my lesson about defending folks in that first game.

We have a lot of people saying that they'll "join the bandwagon," and I'm not sure that's the best way to go about this. I am really wary of the Rebels initiating these in order to kill more innocents.

Well at least we now know that whatever happens, we'll know the role of the person who died. I just hope the Rebels weren't lucky and took out either our Governor or Probe, or both...

But yeah, I'm going to wait a while and avoid random band-wagoning. It hasn't been the least bit useful.

I'm not quite sure that I know who to lynch now that the Freudian slip the first day turned out to be incorrect. However I do know that we should at least lynch someone just so we don't give a free kill to the rebels when we could get lucky with our lynch.

I think it's suspicious how a couple people keep pushing for me to get killed. If I get lynched, since I'm innocent look at who lynches me. The rebels know who they are and therefore who to point suspicion at to keep safe, on my iPod so I can't really look back but if the same people keep starting bandwagons it could be rebels fooling our city. The Jedi sew confusion and reap discord. Don't let them get to us, if we keep lynching innocents we're screwed.

The end of day is 1 AM EST.

Fuck it,this waiting and watching is not helping anyone. I for one am going to sleep now. So before that I wanted to vote for someone. This not voting will certainly not help anyone as the first thread so clearly proved with lot's of mis-lynches as I recall.

I find Atomic Lightning-bug very suspicious as he was the one who started the bandwagon in both day's. Either he is a Rebel scum or a player who doesn't care about the town at all.

    So Vote Player:Atomic Lightning-bug

Christ I just slept the entire day away and I wake up to this SHIT?

Fucking rebel scum, fucking senator with its magical cover up and fuck Garaken. Nigger deserved to die with his shenanigans. :/

Despite our so far utter fail with lynching I still say we need to lynch. Statistics and all them crap. So Vote Player: Oliver of Kingston co0s the bandwagon be rolling.

Alright, since I have to go to sleep and I won't be up before Day ends, I'll vote now so we can reach a majority. I don't have much against Oliver, but since people think he should be lynched, fine.

You willing to be put up against the wall, klackerz? I am. To say I don't care about the town shows your ignorance as to what needs to be done. Results must come, whether through our actions as citizens or the probe. If leading the charge to get those results gets me killed, fine. But don't mistake my actions as "uncaring".

I could go off on a spiel about how any of your are guilty, and it would do nothing but spread confusion and distrust. But the wagons already rolling, and I want the town to survive as much as any citizen.

    Vote Player: Oliver of Kingston.

This bandwaggon is moving onwards rather slowly. It's as if all the Rebels are hesitating to vote and voice their opinions.

Perhaps we have the Jedi Master in our targets and they are feigning AFKness in order to slow down the loyal people of the empire.

LOYAL CITIZENS DO NOT BE AFRAID. SACRFICIES MUST BE MADE AND BLOOD MUST BE SHED FOR THE GLORY OF THE EMPEROR.

to the townsfolk: you seem to not mind losing a person who will vote with you and support you, to show you the error of your ways I will prove to you that I am innocent.

to the rebels (my first guess is Dark Minion who wants everyone to hurry up and kill the innocent people): Fear the Empire for though you have killed me you will fail

Vote Player: Oliver of Kingston there you go, townspeople, kill those on your side.
