Uncultured swine. Stolen from Wikipedia: La petite mort, French for "the little death", is an idiom and metaphor for orgasm.

That's the burnt pot calling snow black.

    ...

There's no need to translate anything. I don't speak French, or any language aside from English. The phrase "La petite mort" and its English counterpart "the little death" are reasonably well known to English speakers as euphemisms for orgasm. That would be why it has its own English Wikipedia page. It's used in English literature, art, music, film, etc. Thus the little "uncultured swine" jest.

It was nothing for you to get defensive over, and if that's the kind of interaction that you find offensive then... welcome to DLP [NSFW: swearing], I suppose.

This is why the Internet needs an age limit.

Age isn't an excuse. You should have been able to figure it out through either google or logical reasoning: 'petite' is english, and this is a Harry Potter forum, you should know what 'mort' means by now. Since you guessed that it was DE child porn you probably knew that, and child porn is pretty far down the list, even in context. Either you've spent way to much time on /b/, or your mind wonders in questionable waters.

Still, this is DLP. As Yak said, harden the fuck up. Teasing is to be expected, so don't flip out for no reason. It's a surefire way to make sure you're looked at as an idiotic douche. I'm not saying to just take it, hold your own if you can. But if you can't, keep your mouth shut. Besides that, uncultured swine isn't someone anyone here would say if they actually meant to insult you. Calm down, yeah? I swear we won't eat you.

Happy birthday, may it bring you thicker skin and a book on forming decent comebacks. I was offended as a craftsman. Here, I'll add a smiley so that you know I'm just ribbing you a bit. ';)'. Feel batter now?

If he can't take it, he'll leave. Besides, if there was an age limit, how would we find any delicious innocent souls to devour?

    Wow.

I'd say it's surprising that someone can be this stupid, but this thread seems to attract your lot like a LED lamp attracts whatever those things were that like light.

Voldemort is at least sixty years old, no matter how you cut it, and Dumbledore is around a hundred years old. OF COURSE HARRY IS JUST GOING TO MATCH ALL OF THAT IN A SINGLE. FUCKING. DECADE.

The Santi is not that stupid. I'd say neither is anyone else, but you've clearly proven me wrong.

Not precisely the best explanation, as despite being quite Swedish not only did I know of that phrase when I was fourteen but I also wasn't retarded.

    ...

    Well, not that retarded, anyway.

    ... I lost. :(

I feel ashamed. For one thing, I'm fifteen, and I remember using the phrase La Petite Mort over two years ago. And I'm fairly sure I didn't make grammer mistakes on a computer, especially one with spell check.

And have you ever heard of the edit button? You had three posts in the space of twelve minutes, and two of them were within three minutes of each other, you could have probably put them in the same post.

Grammar: In linguistics, grammar is the set of structural rules that govern the composition of clauses, phrases, and words in any given natural language. What you're looking for is a Grammar Check.

Spell Check: Checks your spelling, and judging by the spelling of the word grammar in your last sentence, your Spell Check fails as well.

Who else thinks that Harry will go after The Elder Wand, when he learns it's real.

No, I was just using my Ipad due to a power cut. And the spell check on my computer has grammar check built in, and I assumed that all of them are like that.

I don't think he will try and take on Dumbledore in order to get the wand that makes spells more powerful when Dumbledore has the wand. He may try and target Snape to get it when he thinks the wand's master is him, however if the story remains canon compliant then he probably wont realise Draco is the master and the earliest I can see a feasible chance for him to take the elder wand is after Nathan becomes the master, and he seems to care about his family too much for him to do that.

Your forgetting one significant thing: does Harry even know about the legend of the Hallows?

I don't think it's mentioned in the story he does, though I could be wrong.

I doubt Harry would even attempt to take the wand from Snape. He actually likes him.
