The Orks are the pinnacle of creation. For them, the great struggle is won. They have evolved a society which knows no stress or angst. Who are we to judge them? We Eldar who have failed, or the Humans, on the road to ruin in their turn? And why? Because we sought answers to questions that an Ork wouldn't even bother to ask! We see a culture that is strong and despise it as crude.

Slaanesh have mercy on your etheral souls.

I still maintain that any Eldar could destroy any ork, human or monster of the hive.

They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give of themselves to me. Like clay I shall mould them, and in the furnace of war forge them. They will be of iron will and steely muscle. In great armour shall I clad them and with the mightiest guns will they be armed. They will be untouched by plague or disease, no sickness will blight them. They will have tactics, strategies and machines so that no foe can best them in battle. They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity. They are my Space Marines and they shall know no fear.

They shall be My Hammer, the sword in My hand, the gauntlet about My fist, the bane of My foes and woes of the treacherous. When no others may stand beside them, they shall fight. Only the greatest shall enter their ranks, for unto them do I entrust stewardship over the Gates of Hell.

Oh Quotes of the Emperor, how I missed seeing thee. On to the chaplain though!

Bravery is stronger than Adamantium. One is the stuff of the soul-forges, the other an illusion of safety created by fools. Adamantium walls cannot keep us out! We have the courage of the Emperor! And in the Emperor's name... ATTACK!! ATTACK!! NO PRISONERS!!

No army is big enough to conquer the galaxy. But faith alone can overturn the universe.

Light your way in the darkness with the pyres of burning heretics.

Every man is a spark in the darkness. by the time he is noticed he is gone forever. A retinal after-image that fades and is obscured by newer, brighter lights.

Hatred is the Emperor's greatest gift to humanity.

We fight the long war, not through vain notions of duty and honour, but through a far purer purpose: hatred. At the height of our glory we were betrayed and cast out by our kin. Guilliman, Dorn, Sanguinius - these are names I curse. Horus, Perturabo, Angron - these are names I revere, names I would follow to the very end. It is this hatred that has sustained me through the long millennia. I tend it with bitterness. I nurture it with the deaths of my former brothers. For I know that when the end is upon us and Horus is returned, then the false emperor shall be cast down from his sepulchral Golden Throne, and we shall take our rightful place at the side of Horus, the true Emperor of Mankind.

You see, that's your problem right there. All your worship of batshit insane hell-gods has apparently made you delusional. Horus isn't fucking coming back. He's dead. You know who's the only person in 40k that can canonically raise the dead? His name starts with a 'The' and ends with a set of massive golden pauldrons.

Well, everyone's gotta believe in something. If some of us choose to believe that the dead son of a god, let's call him... Jesus, will come and lead us to a great empire, let them. Trololol. I personally don't put much faith into it, but the quote seemed right at the time.

Why believe in the dead son of a god when that God's alive?

Well...maybe alive's not the right word. Dead-But-Dreaming. Either way, if you're going to worship someone, go with the one who still performs miracles and kills starsystems with his mind.

I'd rather worship he who has a part in his plan for us all. Though, have you ever wondered if Tzeentch is just crazy and likes going "Just as planned!" after everything that happens?

Got about 1/5 of the way through the game so far. It's fun, and the game's fondness of mobbing you with bunches and bunches of enemies gives a nice feel for the sheer amount of badassery Marines should have.

Also, although I know it will probably never happen, I would squee like a tween girl watching a Twilight movie if they make Grey Knights or Sisters of Battle skins for the game.

Grey Knights is highly possible as they are Space Marines but Sister of Battle? Not really...

Grey Knights would be a touch problematic, given their general avoidance of standard Marine gear. Non-standard armor, not using 95% of the standard Marine weapons, etc. Granted, I would still buy the skin even if the Grey Knights had to run around using standard Marine gear instead of fitting their background.

You could maybe pull Sisters off, since they still use power armor, bolters, etc. It would be a huge stretch though, and given the relatively small sisters fanbase I doubt it would be profitable enough to be worth the trouble. Plus, having female non-Astartes characters running around instead of the Space Marines would make all the recorded dialogue come out more than a bit strange.

You shall all fall before the power of the swarm.

    Tyranids, FTW

But on a game related note, I'm picking it up in a bit. Will have a report then.
