It was a group project - pretty much everyone who contributed was from /vp/. I think I even made a sprite or two, though I don't remember which.

It's spriting - people who take the old, original sprites of pokemon and improve them to fit with the new-generation style are revamping them. Like this:



The opposite is devamping - where you take new gen pokemon sprites and remake them to fit with the sprite style of old.

 

It's not really a pic, but I got a laugh out of it.

True enough, I suppose. I generally just drop Pokemon related stuff here though to keep from clogging up that thread and getting bitched at to post it here anyway(which I think happened so often last year that it eventually lead to the creation of this topic, unless my memories worse than usual).
