You're forgetting that Wind Chakra neutralizes Lightning Chakra, and that the Raikage is covered in the stuff.

The emphasis that's being placed is implying that the Lightning Chakra cloak that the Raikage uses is so powerful that it sucked up the Rasenshuriken on contact, instead of immediately dispersing or some such shit.

Wind defeats Lightning actually, but what you say makes sense. It would also depends on how strong the elemental technique is and the Raikage looks like he's the boss of Lightning (and Black Lightning too, if I remember right...was it Darui who said that?). Naruto's probably not at that level with his wind manipulation.

I know. Say that A amount of wind chakra is usually enough to defeat B amount of lightning chakra. In the case of this Rasenshuriken and the Raikage's lightning cloak, the wind chakra in the Rasenshuriken was barely enough to neutralize the Raikage's chakra cloak, dissipating in the process.

Or at least, that's how I see it.

And isn't this Rasenshuriken different to what was used against Kakuzu? The one used on Pain literally shredded the body rather than causing internal damage.

As much as I like to see Naruto finally kicking some asses, one thing doesn't let me fully enjoy it - the inevitable moment when he runs out of his own chakra and can't use the Fox anymore. And it will probably happen as soon as Madara or Sasuke shows up on the battlefield.

Am I the only one that felt like raising my hands to contribute to Naruto's genki bijuu dama?

This one actually looked exactly like the one that was used on Kakuzu. The one he used against Pain was different in that it acted as a giant circular saw/grindstone.

I'm wondering if the fact that this RSS attacked on a cellular level made it easier for Edo Tensei to regenerate him? It always seemed to me that while big attacks like destroying a limb would understandably take a few seconds for ET to mend, microscopic cuts would heal almost instantaneously.

That's quite likely, however all of the cuts, despite being microscopic, would have been a huge quantity of cuts. Enough cuts that Kakashi couldn't tell how many cuts Kakuzu took the first time the Rasenshuriken was revealed.

Also, am I the only one who is wondering what Mū was saying before he was sealed is important? 'You should take precaution... I...' was what he said.

Wow. I never really thought about how fast Naruto had gotten. That's impressive speed. Hey, who do you guys think is the strongest of the revived Kage?

I liked this week's chapter. Having Naruto win by actually thinking instead of just breaking out some new super-jutsu was very nice indeed.

What a total surprise that Naruto failed when trying the Bijuu Dama. It's only happened like, always, when he's trying out a new super jutsu. Bleh.

    Yeah, pretty cool overall, though.

Strongest revived Kage? It's hard to choose, since they all kick serious ass. Ninjutsu, Nintaijutsu and Genjutsu. All of them could decimate armies.

Yeah. The 1st and 2nd Hokages now don't seem as boss as before...when we didn't see the revived kages. I'm not sure either one of them would have anything for the 3rd Raikage or Muu. I'll withold judgement on the Mizukage for now, but after recent chapters the 1st and 2nd Hokages have probably slid down the rankings a bit.

I think Minato would still crush any of the revived kages though.

IIRC, wasn't the Sandaime supposed to be the strongest Kage of his era? When you consider his contemporaries, it kind of gives you an idea as to just how strong he was, especially in his prime.

I believe that should either of the Hokages re-apear, then we would see an incredible amount of skill, much more than when Orochimaru revived them. They would be equal, if not stronger (at least the First should be) that most of the Kages we've seen fighting.

I think the major problem lies in the fact that the Orochimaru vs. Sarutobi fight took place so early in the series when Kishimoto didn't particularly need to make any of the "Kage level" fighters seem as impressive as they have to be this late in the manga.

Konoha has traditionally been the strongest ninja village, so I have to believe that if any of the Hokage were to reappear in the series they would give a much better showing than they did back in Part 1. It's strongly implied that Sarutobi would compare favorably to any of his contemporaries, and these are them.

When you think about it any fight from earlier chapters, like for example the battle of Sannins, isn't really that spectacular compared to what we see now. It's also shame that none of the Hokages can be resurrected with the Impure World Resurrection.

And completly destroy the allied forces chances of winning? Any revived Hokage would destroy all hopes of victory for the allied forces.
