Be pretty awesome if Harry uses Aqua Eructo (is that what it was spelled?) in one of the tasks.

The look on his Parent's and Dumbledore's face. :awesome

My guess is that first Calypso's name comes out and she explains her bad-ass plan to Harry. When she is finished Harry's name comes out and he used a much more bad-ass way.

Just out of curiosity, is this the most popular fan fic on DLP ever or was there one equally as popular in the past?

While this story is generally well received on DLP, the majority of the popularity comes from the absolutely retarded amount of fanboys that have joined this site for the sole purpose of reading Santi's updates in the WBA. (Thanks for that by the way, Santi)

If you count those, and go by posts and views, it is. Otherwise? It's just another good fic that's come out of DLP. This one just appeals to the masses more than most.

I doubt there is a "most popular fan fic on DLP ever" except maybe this.

    So was I.

But it's fair to say that Castiel's choice has never disappointed, either.

Right, I'm getting my theory out now:

Harry and Nathan are the ones taken to the graveyard (assuming that happens) at the end of the tournament. But since it's Harry, Voldemort doesn't order instant death. I'm not ruling out Cedric dying at an earlier point though.

Now, before anyone jeers at how ridiculous/improbable/outlandish my claim is... let's just wait to see what actually happens. I'm just getting this out in case I do actually turn out to be right, otherwise...hopefully enough time will have occurred for it to be forgotten.

Might as well go for six champions, then...

    Hogwarts: Cedric Diggory
    Beauxbatons: Fleur Delacour
    Durmstrang: Victor Krum

British Institute of Xanatos Gambit Victims: Nathan Potter
    Cocky Protagonists Academy: Harry Potter
École Derpe de France: Monsieur Redshirt

Harry and Victor get picked, but Harry for Hogwarts as that was the first school he attended?

I suggested this months ago, but it's unlikely unless Harry writes "Hogwarts" on his entry. Dumbledore said that applicants have to write their name and school on the piece of paper that they submit to the Goblet.

I just hope it won't be the same 3 tasks as in canon, they weren't good in the first place and tons of fanfics and years later haven't improved that. Even having only 3 is a bit of a disappointment, but there are other things that will probably have the focus (Calypso) so that's fine I suppose~

It would be the ultimate troll against Hogwarts though.

It would be a good troll. There's no point re-typing it, so I'll recycle instead:

I'd like to see more than three task too. Santi's had forever to think up these things so it's probably gonna be awesome regardless.

I don't agree with that opinion about the canon tasks and there you can read why. If Santi keeps them, the only change I think he could make to somehow improve them (aside from making them more spectacular by changing how the Champions are trying to win them) is letting spectators witness the second and the third task.

I see your point and if The Santi uses the default tasks I guess everything will depend on the execution of the Champions erm... I mean how the Champions will perform, although some heads could roll for all I care~

    @Celestin.
This is in no way meant to be confrontational (there's too much of that ITT already, hence the sentence), but do we know that there was no ability for the spectators to actually see what was going on in the second/third tasks? I know we often talk of 'Wizarding Logic' and lack of common sense, but SURELY someone would have pointed it out?

I've seen so many TWT fics (it really is my favourite year to read) that the addition of magical screens or whatever really wouldn't faze me at all.

If the spectators could have seen the 2nd task, there'd be no reason for the Mer-chieftainess to come explain what happened in the lake to Dumbledore. Nor would there have been so much confusion surrounding the 3rd task. People would have been able to see that the champions were being waylaid by Crouch and turned on each other.

But that raises the question of why hundreds of people sat for an hour to stare at a lake and a bunch of hedges. I'd blame this one on JKR being JKR and leave it at that, though.

JKR? You do realize that before TV people did exactly this when waiting for any long distance runner and similar? They simply wanted to see who will win.
