Loved how Ikakku and Renji dealt with their enemies.

Renji pretty much summed up the arc as Kenpachi did:

Hopefully he isn't, I think he was referring to the training he went through in order to fight Aizen.

That doesn't make any sense since he said "these past 17 months".

 

Either SS dropped the ball and Aizen is running about again, giving another reason to give Ichigo his powers back, or Renji wants to catch up to Ichigo and figures that if he can stand against Aizen, he's well on his way. Guess we'll find out more next week.

 

Or Renji is surprisingly Genre-Savvy and is expecting him to break out.

 

I personally interpreted is as Renji simply wanting to be able to match Aizen in combat. But I wanted to keep the meaning open-ended since I could never know what Kubo's intended meaning was. So.

Glad to know I accomplished what I set out to do.

The fullbring guys remain trash but I appreciated Hitsugaya snarking at the kid with the flimsiest god complex I have seen so far.

 

One beatdown per chapter--excellent. At this rate, we should be done in five or six weeks.

Had to laugh when the gamer kid called Hitsugaya a brat--I was almost expecting him to get a bit ragey, but the mocking was cool too. Renji appears to have become a bit of a boss too.

 

Well, it's a lot better than I was expecting. Then again, I was expecting the fights against the fullbringers to be utter garbage, so that's not saying much.

 

Low expectations make everything better! But no, seriously lets end this crappy arc already,

Not to mention that the "Dirty Boots" lady (can't remember her name, don't care enough to look it up) basically pulled a heroic sacrifice at the end. There does seem to have been some foreshadowing that Riruka might switch sides, so I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

 

Am I missing it, or has there been utterly no explination at all as to why the fuck theyre all gung-ho to steal Ichigo's Mojo? :|

It just seems like a random, useless excuse to give Ichigo his powers back and make him even more dues ex. :| Fucking ridiculous. Plus, wtf with Chad and the fullqueers?

Also, that bullshit with Aizen and knowing about Ichigo and shit. Am I the only one thinking he's gonna end up as Spirit King after the manga ends? >_>
