It was a long and arduous day. For a moment, it seemed as if we would let the sun set on it’s bizarre twenty six hour day without any blood being spilled. But at the last moment, it was decided that Nemrut should meet his end.

The Lynch Mob does their business quickly and viciously, perhaps as angered and excited by the days events as I. After the lynch mob was done with its grisly work, I conducted a quick search of the body.

We have all made a terrible mistake! Nothing on his person shows him to be a member of the Separatist Movement after all!

It seems that Nemrut was nothing more than a Civilian!

Yeah, I am not as influential as I could be.

The bloody work has kept me busy the entire week and I haven't found a time to analyze this bloody game. Tomorrow I should be able to figure out more than I know now however.

 

I guess he never did get his chance to role-claim or anything of the sort, like Sesc did. Perhaps the voting extension shouldn't have happened after all, even if you did enjoy watching us jump through hoops, Vesvius.

All said, I do wonder which two people get killed tonight, now that the Renegade is allowed to kill people. Nemrut's death, and the removal of likely links by his being guilty, throws things up into the air again.

Then again, certain shifting in votes, and particular word usage, arouses new suspicions as well.

Day Three has dawned.

The sun rose over a tense Varykino.

As I exited my home, I could tell by the look on the faces of my fellow townspeople: someone had died last night. I was led to the home of the deceased to identify the body.

Quickly, I discovered that Lutris had been killed. There were definite signs of a struggle, and the final blow had been a cowardly shot to the back. From the size of the burn, it had clearly been left by a small Blaster Pistol. I attempted to identify who he was, to no avail.

A rogue medical droid had visited the body in the night. Identifying the role was impossible!

Day Three will end at 10:00 PM EST on Saturday, 10/8.

So either someone was successfully protected, or the Handmaiden was one of last night's targets. That is, only one of two(potentially three) possible kills that could have happened last night, did actually happen. Well, I suppose the Jedi Master might have randomly swapped people around in such a way to the same result as well.

 

Handmaiden publicly survives a NK. We'd know who they are if they get targeted for a NK.

There was always a line of dialogue in the other games about how "Such and such a player was attacked, but survived" if the Healer successfully protected. Also, I just checked the Assassin's thing. Pretty sure they can't start killing until tonight.

@Custer, the Dark Renegade could have made a kill last night too. So unless everyone went and targeted lutris (why so hating?) then we're short one kill.

 

Can they opt out? Would there be a reason to opt out? Or maybe he was roleblocked/protected. Can all of these be options?

 

Emphasis, mine, again. DR can kill or taint, and can't do the same thing twice in a row. Chances are, someone was tainted last night.

 

He can't kill night one, so he must taint night one. Which means, on night 2 he can only kill.

If he has chosen not to kill, I guess there is no accounting for that.

 

Hmm. Has anyone been visited in the night, I wonder?

 

I should be more accurate in my posting. Anyway, I looked and yes it appears that it definitely wasn't a Handmaiden. Although, despite the point Custer made, do we know for sure that we would be informed of a successful protection? Presuming that is still true, and also presuming that both antagonist groups would kill if they could, the only other option I can imagine is that the Jedi Healer targeted the Renegade and cleansed them, thus negating their potential kill.
