Ichigo is powerful, really powerful. They intended to steal his powers so they could take a step up in level. No doubt for some goal that has yet to be revealed.

Well, A shonen Manga where the main character was a powerless has been would be pretty boring, I'm thinking. At least if it wasn't done masterfully.

And as much as I like Kubo Tite, I'm not sure he could pull it off.

From what I remember, Chad was never quite comfortable with his power. And considering the level of battles he was unable to take part in, as well as his personal need to protect others.. he probably jumped on the chance to learn from people who knew what it was like to be a 'normal' human with powers.

I'm not familiar with what you're talking about. But I could just be spacing it.

However, knowing the trend of Shonen manga.. it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

 

1) This is bleach, every plot twist is a Deus Ex Machina.

2) As someone who recently finished playing Deus Ex twice, 'dues ex' is fucking hilarious. I prefer to say that like 'jew sex'.

Well that seemed incredibly pointless, we got to watch hitsugaya threaten someone and Ikkaku beat the shit out of a kid with his bare hands.

Bored, just end this arc and move on to the obvious Aizen has broken out explanation.

 

I think you're doing something wrong if you're reading Bleach for solely the plot. Closure won't happen for a really long-ass time, and we all know that, so watching Ikkaku beat the fuck out of someone is nice in the meantime, no?

I like Tsukishima's power less and less.

 

Tsukishima is a fool. Cue Byakuya dismissing him with a reminder that he only cut a few of the thousands of petals that make up his blade, and the reveal that he never cut him in the first place.

 

I hope this happens. But I am afraid it won't. This guy gives me the "when did you start thinking I would rant for less than 20 chapters?" vibe.

Actually this guy seems to be the most powerful of the fullbringers. That ability is just too far beyond ridiculous by now.

 

Even if he manipulates the environment around him with his hax sword I doubt he can catch Byakuya who is a flash step master, even with the FullQueer version of flash steps.

 

Wow, my respect for Ikkaku actually went up a couple notches. Looks like he's matured.

Tsukishima's gonna get his ass kicked. He's just delaying the inevitable.

 

My guess is that Tsukishima is just getting powered up so that when Byakuya beats his ass down he looks more awesome. Slightly pathetic that we have to resort to that, honestly, just have Ichigo's hollow pop up and slaughter all of them while complaining about being bored.

 

Off topic: Tsukishima vs Aizen would be the ultimate troll battle.

Pretty much. Tsukishima does have a pretty decent power, but it's mostly comparable to an average captain level Shinigami: A simple power, ridiculous in scope. Any of the top guys, except maybe Kenpachi would pretty much thrash him with very little effort. I would put most of the Espada over him in power level, especially the Death one.

 

Aizen wouldn't play around, just summon a few Kido and turn him into a smear. There would be no second hits for him to take advantage of.
