Meh, Naeblis and the other guy are right, the idea that Dean will treat these creatures like humans is totally contrary to his character. They get one strike. Sure he can make an exception for monsters not hurting anyone -if Sam's there- but as soon as they kill they are done in his eyes.

He just doesn't see them as human. And to be fair in this case she was killing people, who was irrelevant, people were dying, people she had no right to decide had to die, regardless of the situation. What happened if she had another kid and was desperate? Or her kid went on to have a kid and he wasn't as pick? More people die, drug dealers, whatever it doesn't matter.

And the idea of hunters as some sort of moral arbiters is just ridiculous. If it's Supernatural they kill it, especially if it's killing people. End of story.

And yes Dean is a hypocrite, totally (I'm still waiting for an explanation for the whole Brady thing, that was downright evil). But since when did a person's own hypocrisy stop him from doing the right thing for everyone else.

WTF are you bitches doing debating morals?

    He killed Kaylee.

    YOU DO NOT KILL KAYLEE.

    Dean officially sucks.

Ehh this episode was very disappointing. I feel they focused on the wrong people regarding Dean's guilt. Joe? Seemed more like pandering to the audience than anything else. Dean shouldn't feel that guilty about Joe.
Kitsune I can see. Sam I can see. But not Joe.

Now if only Dean had another brother who because of Dean's actions, and by trusting Dean, ended up in a pit with the devil... Oh well.

But seriously this episode was weak. Both the resolution, the cop out ending, and the whole Sam not feeling guilty.

I'm glad Sam is done with the guilty angst. Its nice to see that he has accepted the past, and he did get his punishment in Hell.

6 years of angsty, guilty Sam is enough.

    Good things about the episode:

    1. Sam not being guilty anymore
    2. The fact that gods can't really be killed but rather put down for a couple of hundred years. Always annoyed me when they casually killed gods.
    3. Sam's "sometimes I see Lucifer when I brush my teeth" line

    Bad things:

Everything else. Yeah, really lackluster episode. They didn't deal with Dean's guilt, they just pretended to bring it up but they mostly ignored it. Should have been Kaylee not Joe. I do hope Sam finds out sometime.

    Disappointing season so far.

For everyone feeling he should be guilty over killing Kaylee, I ask why? Dean's a psychopath incapable of accepting monsters to live for any reason whatsoever beside them being children. Why would he feel guilty about it? Because he lied to Sam? Nothing new between the two brothers.

I don't think even I know what the joke is now.

To be clear, are you cleverly being sarcastic in regards to Anlun's histerical commentary about the butt raped winchester that everyone forgot?

Or is there a secondary joke that is more META that I do not understand.

    Is this Jokeception?

Is there a Joke hidden in your sarcasm, that is further burried in Anlun's, that somehow works it way back into Castiels comment. ( Perhaps in reference to his username being similar to a humourless angel from the series we are talking about)

I am pretty sure Anlun referred to Adam Milligan (the third son of John Winchester)

From what I could gather from Jon's post it did not seem he caught on to that fact. It looked like he thought the joke was an idea of another Winchester when Dean and Sam are already fucked up beyond imagination. If he did however got the joke and as he says

I am sorry. What was your joke?

Nope, it got worse, imo. At least the episodes so far were a letdown.
