Which is in essence saying 'I don't want us to lynch today', because day one lynches are mostly random. This applies even to the Boy King, who is just as much a player with limited info as the rest of us. What you just said basically amounts to 'I want hard evidence when there can be none'. Unless one of the scum comes out and says they are scum (or roleplays, either/or), we're not going to get anything better than random guesswork and intuition.

What I've been advocating would mean we'd at least have the reasoning behind the lynch, in addition to the voting records, laid out to us for analysis. The Boy King can't reveal himself on the second day, because he'd be killed, so what we really get from a day one King lynch is a random kill with no explanation and no voting record to go off.

It leaves us right where we are now, only with less players (either pro-town or scum, we have no way of knowing).

But since that's not happening, I basically picked my three most suspicious people and listed them. You happened to be on that list, though I should amend that to include Lungs in a joint second place with you. Not lynching is not good for the town, even if we go to the Boy King for it.

 

Random guesswork and intuition would be a step up from the reasoning people have been giving, not a single person whose named a target has a single thing beyond "I've got a vibe" or "NO U" and also no I never said I wanted hard evidence, I just want some sort of evidence at all. I mean Ill take anything beyond a "vibe."

Also Day One voting patterns prove nothing to me, with multiple scum factions, no trends to look at or anything of the sort, everyone including the scum will be going for a random kill. The only information we might glean is if there is any White Knighting going on and that can still be explained away easily and plausibly by the fact that people don't want to see an innocent get lynched.

 

You say that scum votes are random on day one, but I disagree. In all likelihood no scum will vote for his scum mates, so we can at least count the various people that voted/have been voted for from being allies based on that. That is unless a bandwagon takes hold of course, but that hasn't happened this time (I guess we don't know how to react when there aren't any annoying roleplayers around to lynch ). That'll help in the long run when the player counts are down through lynches/kills.

On the topic of the lynch itself, two things we definitely get from a town lynch are who the bandwagon starter/s is/are and who the lurkers are based on the number of posts prior to their vote (or no vote at all). That is useful information that we won't have to work with later, this time.

Suspects are all, of course, based on intuition. This is, after all, one big game of Cluedo.

It is morning on the Wall. It is getting colder, and will only become even colder as the days pass. The Lord Commander assures me that he will send for more blankets the next opportunity he has, but I do not believe that the supplies will be sent for any time soon. The Lord Commander is taking a large host of Brothers to range north of the Wall on the morrow.

That there were wights in the keep is disturbing, but there are more immediately pressing matters. A raven arrived during the night.

It was with trouble in my heart that I relayed the raven's message to the Lord Commander. A prominent individual from south of the Wall has perished, and we have thus lost a valuable source of gold and men.

Winter is coming, as the Starks say. But winter is not an event that begins one moment and ends the next; it is a state of the world around us.

Even I, Aemon, who have seen a hundred summers, cannot conceal my fear. Winter has already begun.

So, we have two people, Fiat and Krogan, who both managed to sidestep death. I'm curious what they have to say about this.

 

Fascinating. Not sure what Fiat could be, since there are several roles [some Pro-Town too] that can survive a Night Kill.

Luckily, the list of who can survive a Joffrey kill is much smaller. Namely that of The Sellsword or any of the 3 Winterfell. 3/4 odds are good enough for me. Goodbye Krogan.

Not much else to say here. 75% chance to kill scum, 25% to kill functionally powerless townie is fantastic no matter how you look at it.

As for fiat, he has bigger chance to be town than a randomly picked player (i think, not at home so can't look at role list, so maybe wrong).

Wait - the Mother of Dragons simply can't be lynched, right? So while it could be Night Killed, as long as the Bloodrider lives there would be no lynching. So Custer, wouldn't that raise the likelihood that Krogan is the Mother of Dragons, instead of Fiat?

I'm not quite sure who to vote for yet. There's a slight chance that both Krogan and Fiat are from King's Landing and therefore should be kept alive. Although, odds are one of them at least is from Winterfell, with a 20% chance that Krogan is the Mother of Dragons.

To be protown Krogan can only be the sellsword, but Fiat can also be The Mountain.

And if Krogan is Winterfell, Fiat is more likely to be town than not. 2/3 odds if I am not mistaken. The same is not true for Krogan.
