Best way to avoid ELO hell is duo queue. This is especially important in your first 10 games of ranked each season.

You get much higher points in your first 'placement' 10 games, getting like 50ish for a win. Thus winning as many as those first games as you can is massively important.

Queueing as a duo still sticks you in the solo queue, so find a friend you can duo bottom lane with in that support/ad combo, or maybe mid/jungle.

Played a few games with TSNL/Stupid Named. I was like a fresh nooblet dieing three times as often as I killed, while TSN's wandering around Legendarying it the hell up. I was trying to learn Rammus, and then eventually switched to the minotaur. You all must be snorting speed cause they're way too much shit going on at once for my poor old brain to follow, lol

 

Eh, its not that much. Just concentrate on last hitting creep, harassing your lane and keeping an eye on the minimap. Its not until roaming phase that you really have to start watching all lanes for ganks etc, and in late game its pretty easy to either defend the tower in most need or push/split push.

 

Everyone sucks in the beginning. Every friend that I've ever gotten into this game takes a long while before they get the hang of it.

Took me a while too, you'll get the hang of it.

 

MOBA games in general have high learning curves. LoL is the most forgiving of them, though.

You never said you were ganking mid. Just turned up, the got angry at me for not knowing whether you were just counter-jungling or ganking. The "I heard you on skype" was a minute after the gank, where you repeated 'did you look at the minimap' about three times, obviously showing that you expected the minimap to show where you were and didn't indicate to me what you were doing.

Again, there was no 'Berkeley, going in', there was only you going in, and then me missing all of my shit. Also, 'Lol, you can't judge me'? Pretty sure what I said was, after you going on a little rant 'I dont care'.

And I'm pretty sure that last one never happened. I don't even know what the fuck that was about.

I had a pretty bad match, yeah. But originally Graves is a good counter to my character, he has a dash to escape all of my skills and his buckshot hits for a ton. Graves counters me easily. I was at a disadvantage from the beginning, and then having some dick sarcastically comment on everything I did didn't improve my game, what a fucking surprise.

You did not call those ganks. By asking me if I was watching the minimap to see that you were ganking, and asking me 'did you watch your minimap', and posting it up here, you are proving that.

I responded with that because when someone sarcastically comments on your gameplay, rags on you for every action you take, you don't just go on and listen attentively to whatever the guy says. you try to play and not get affected by the dickhead.

I didn't decide to fight at blue. I'm pretty much positive that exchange didn't happen.
