    Well no one has not joined after Luffy asks them seriously so my bet is he is joining, my main concern is whether or we are through with Fishman island, it just seems underwhelming for something that was build up for so long.

    Actually, I don't think Jinbe will be joining the Strawhat crew. He doesn't really bring anything to the table, in the sense that Nami, or Sanji, or Franky brought to the table.

    As far as the Fishman Island arc goes, I really just want it to be done. The prejudice against humans was interesting, but as soon as they brought Arlong into the mix, my interest died. He was a serious villain back in the first hundred or so chapters of the manga, and now Luffy would wipe the floor with him.

    Speaking of old villains, and bringing up an older arc in the manga (because I sat down and read all the way through it over the course of a week not too long ago) the Impel Down arc was amusing, if only because Buggy and Mr. 3 knew how outclassed they were.

    Luffy originally said 10 people right? So counting up Jinbei would be the 10th, but that would mean no awesome recruits in the New World.

    One Piece can, without fail bring a smile to my face as I read it, whether its in a crappy arc or just about to hit its stride. Which is totally about to happen. New World, here they come.
