Exactly. Geller doesn't even speak to the people they capture as far as I remember. It is like he is not there. And Carissa Porter is sure Geller couldn't have done those things. Maybe she is right? It is just Travis and what is in his mind.

    Thanks. :)

This is the most excited I've been for the next episode of a TV show in a long time. Dexter taking advice from the Ice Truck Killer? Pure win.

I can't remember, is this the last season or will there be one (or several) more?

IIRC, the show's producers said that they have not yet decided when they are going to end the show, so there will most likely be several more seasons.

Normally we're hitting about the point when I'd hope they wrap it up but if they can keep this level of fucking win going then Im happy however long they decide to run for. Of course whenever the end of the series does come I want at a bare minimum for Deb to finally figure everything out.

Michael C Hall wants a pay upgrade to compensate for the delaying of his desire to return to Broadway acting. He's apparently a bit tired of TV and Dexter after playing it for six years. $1 mil per episode or something.

Gellar being dead would've been an interesting twist, except that we have seen him touch people before. The victims on occasion, like the woman Travis slept with, while tied on his kitchen floor, who had her hair pushed away from her face by Gellar.

Depends on how deep Travis's insanity runs, I mean if he really is all the way on the clownshit insane side of things then its very possible he was the one doing that and he simply imagined watching Gellar do it.

One million per episode and he's not happy? O_O Who does he think he is, Charlie Sheen?

Just kidding, he's a great actor and has a wonderful singing voice also.

Dude did the show and beat cancer at the same time. That's dedication to the craft. Give him a mil an episode. Still making less than some athletes do a game, and I like MCH way better.

That is what Travis saw. It could have been him doing it or he was "imagining" that Geller was doing that. He even "called" "Geller" in the previous episode remember?

Remember the coffee shop scene? The waitress (and subsequent victim) doesn't even look at Geller when she comes over to their table.

When they see the newspaper for the first time, Geller isn't worried at all. There are so many people around, no one recognizes him.

When they hit the "whore" with their car. Geller doesn't pick her up. He makes Travis do it.

I expect someone close to Dexter will die. Like when he let Trinity go, Rita died. He let Travis go, not really his fault, that is what the code required. But still, he will probably end up paying for it.

Not to mention when they hit the whore, Geller makes Travis hit her. Actually forces Travis to do it. Not taking over the car but pushing down on this leg. Good call.

There is definitely a good amount to support the Gellar being imagined thing, including nobody having heard from him in 3 years and Travis having a traumatic event that could easily lead him to this hallucination. Also I really liked the trailer for the next episode with Trinity's son picking up where his dad left off.

This does seem to be the season for dissociative disorders. Rudy and now possibly Gellar. Wouldn't be surprised if Jonas turns out to be seeing the ghost of Trinity and is taking advice from him.

All the stuff with Brother Sam was really sad, honestly.

And anyone looking to prove or disprove the 'Gellar is imaginary' theory:
    - Episode 4: the waitress ignores Gellar completely and only talks to Travis. Ignoring customers is a no-no. She then completely ignores Gellar while tied and gagged on the floor after her romp with Travis. Not once does she look in his direction even when he's right next to her face.
    - Episode 5: sitting in a waterfront club after his name and face has been plastered all over the city, and not a single person so much as flinches.
    - Episode 6: yet more examples of Gellar neither interacting nor affecting anything or anyone (beyond speaking to Travis). Thus far, he hasn't actually done anything.

Gotta say, the evidence is pretty strong.

How can Gellar possibly be imaginary? Didn't the police release a photo of him? And if he was made up, wouldn't the teaching assistant see the photo on the news and notice something was wrong?

I agree that everything else makes sense...probably missing something here.

The key part of this theory is "like Dexter imagines Harry." Harry was a real person but the Harry we see Dexter talk to in the present is imaginary.

    You...are not making any sense.

We're all assuming something happened in the years following his disappearance where he died and somehow Travis was involved. Travis was traumatized by the experience, resulting in him hallucinating Gellar like Dexter does his dad.

    Edit: ninja'd
