Reminds me a little of the MC back when he was winning GSL's. Made protoss look op through micro.

IdrA will make more than that $750 from his stream revenue when he gets back to the EG house anyway, he won't give a damn, it'll just be more notoriety meaning more people tuning into his stream and eventually more income with or without ad-blocker. He won't change, he's the biggest douche in the SC2 community and I'll never like the guy, however good he may be / have been.

Still, not particularly fond of anyone left in the tournament, I wanna root for Leenock purely because he's 16 & winning 50k... Yeah, talk about sitting pretty for a year or 2. Amazing (debut?) start to a career.

That and hey, DRG is getting demolished here.

Well, DRG tried with the 3-3 comeback but, yeah, GG Leenock!

Blazed through the Open Bracket into the Grand Finals... Now, do we have 1 Bo3 in the finals or 2? Fingers crossed for Leenock to win to force a 2nd Bo3..

... Times like this make me hate the fact I have to be at Uni in 6 hours, gah... Whilst I really want to see who wins this Bo7, time to call it a night.

Amazing 3 games, honestly don't care who wins, slightly favouring Leenock purely because he's so young & it'd be one helluva start (Does he even have a team?) to his career (International? Apparently he's already Code S).

    FXOLeenock. :p

Yeah, this is shaping up to be one hell of a finals. I don't know who I want to see win more, both of them are just putting on such a good show.

I know he has done that, but I thought that with the recent changes he's had to his attitude it might have changed. Wishful thinking I guess.

So Idra said that he simply missed his call to play. He was out watching Huk play and didn't hear it.

Well, that's terrible luck, but at least it makes sense.

Naniwa reminds me a mix betwen Peter Pettigrew and an owl for some reason.

Really cool interview, thanks for posting that.

Pretty interesting to see how the industry is like from a business standpoint, and the future of MLG and eSports in the Western world.

EDIT: Just watched the MLG finals between Leenock and Naniwa. I don't think I've seen a grand final that exciting since MarineKing vs Nestea in GSL2. Like, awesome series - every one of them very different, and exciting the whole way through. Insane micro from both players (force fields by Naniwa, Starcraft 1 like Zergling micro from Leenock), great decision making, ridiculous timing and no real mistakes.

Just a random note, Violet used to be a top tier WC3 player so I wouldn't be surprised if you hear more about him once he starts playing more SC2 (assuming he decides he wants to dedicate a ton of time to another game.)

If I'm thinking of the right guy, Violet managed to get into GSL Code S even with his time divided. He'll be DAMN good if he really dedicates his time to SC2.

Did anyone just watch the GSL semi final between MVP and Leenock? Holy crap. One of the best matches I've seen. Every single game...was like, insane surprises, strategies and micro from both players.

MVP staying in the second game for so long when he was on a what, 2 base vs 4 base? Or Leenock's epic defensive wall in the 4th match blocking the hellions. And then when the Queen went down, he replaced them with sacrificial zerglings for a second, so that another Queen could replace the hole in the wall. Won him the game that did.

About to watch the semis right now. Will comment when I'm done.

EDIT: Okay, so I just finished watching Leenock vs MVP game 2. That game actually happened. Holy FUCK. This series really is going to be the new NesTea vs sC. So fucking good, goddamn.

I'm a little disappointed that Oz lost, also. The finals are pretty much guaranteed to be mediocre (if MVP won, he'll probably just clown Jjakji- not that Jjakji is bad, I've been talking him up ever since we first saw NSHoSeo in the team league- and if Leenock won, well...I know Jjakji has some fucking bonkers TvP because he's on NSHoSeo with Sage and Tassadar and shit, but I don't remember his TvZ all that well. I mean Seal's great, so maybe we could get a good TvZ finals if Leenock took the series.) Still got up to three games to see, though, and I won't be able to watch them for a little while.
