I just started Skarner last night, like his lines alot, lol. Might save up and buy him next, so I can learn a tier 1 dude for solo q, instead of the lower guys I've been playing. If I catch some newer guys around my skill level, I rape, but against anyone coordinated my Teemo or Yi gets raped in solo games until very, very late =(

So, Range is Xerath's big advantage mostly. Otherwise he's not very mobile, he's squishy against other AP champs.. etc etc.

I just faced a Lux in mid. And I'll be damned if I know how to counter her E, which out-ranges my Q.

Yeah, it's a skillshot, but it travels so quickly that she has to misaim for it not to hit me, and it's an AOE, so that makes it even harder to dodge....x.x

Sure, when my W is up, I outrange her by alot. But it doesn't change the fact that the other 12 or so seconds (till it gets upgraded late game) it's on CD she can harass the shit out of what is supposed to be one of the best Pokers in the game.

So I'll ask, how should I counter a Lux in mid?

I tried harassing her with my Q, but she dodged well and rarely got hit by it. I couldn't get close enough to use my E, or she'd stun me in place, and then combo-kill me with her abilities and ult.

I tried just out-pushing her, but I couldn't even do that, cause she was constantly harassing me with her damned E, which also damaged the minions and helped her push.

If I'd known Lux out-ranged me whenever I wasn't in Locus of Power (this is not taking into account her spammable ult), I might just have picked up her instead of Xerath.

Edit: Apparently, this is a known issue. And Xerath is getting a rework to make him viable in just the situation I described.

 

Is anyone else getting massive lag lately? I know I haven't changed anything in my PC, so I don't see how it could be my problem. Also, the LoL website isn't working for me either, so I can't even bitch properly.

I'm getting 5-10 seconds delay. I remember using Blitz's ult to clear a minion wave and then wait over 10 seconds to see the results. By that time, a new minion wave was on me. And so were two enemy champions...

Needless to say, even bots seem hard nowadays.

Is it just me lagging?

 

Garen is so awesome, just give him health and he will rape anything that looks at your carry wrong. Gave mine a warmog, tried to give him two but then had this small problem with Skarner/Kat combo raping the rest of my team. I killed those two by myself because they thought they could outlast me, but by then the rest of their team had shown up and i was already at 50% health. They aced and pushed into our Nexus before I could respawn. I also had this small problem where I forgot to change the masteries from Teemo to Garen.

 

I am not having any trouble like that Lulzing. Your best bet would be to contact support@riotgames.com or post in the technical forums.

 

Since the fizz patch a variety of people have been getting a variety of problems. I lag out and dc everytime in character select so have to time and alt+f4 then restart of lol with the count down so I dont que dodge. Then I get lag spikes ingame. I believe they are known issues...just nothings been done yet.

 

I play with a touchpad, oddly enough I suck a lot more with a mouse now...

I was not aware that the jungle was bad, and laning was fine before. I fear this will be terrible.

 

And now every neutral monster will give buffs... rage quits here they come...

 

Might as well make jungle mobs do no damage now. Everyone and their mothers should be able to jungle as long as they choose a champ with decent sustained DPS.

Also, weaker lane mobs? Teemo BS time. Next to nil damage from minions go go go.

 

Jungling is retardedly easy now. Yet you still have bad junglers because jungling is not and has never been about being able to clear the jungle. I'd rather have a blitz over an udyr in the jungle if the blitz left once in awhile to gank or provide support to the laners.

With the new sigil mobs in each camp, good junglers can actually provide sustain to their top/mid laners, counterjungle more effectively, and gank harder. All this does is offer more options for jungling.

It doesn't matter how well you farm the jungle, or how quickly the camps respawn. Jungle minions will never provide the same farm that a lane will (when played correctly). Not even close. The 0/0/3 jungler will do twice as well as the 0/0/0 jungler with three times his minion kills, because that top lane he ganked now has a huge advantage, and the top laner will be a much bigger threat than the jungler ever will.
